📚✨ At Hobe Sound Elementary, our 4th grade students are embracing Building Thinking Classrooms with the guidance of math coach, Ms. Harrison!
This powerful approach helps students grow as critical thinkers, effective communicators, and collaborative problem-solvers. To start, students work on non-curricular problems to practice the process, and then apply the strategies directly to their math and ELA and science content areas.
We are so proud to see our students engaged, supporting one another, and building strong habits for lifelong learning! 💡🙌

Hello HSE, I’m hopeful everyone has had a great start to the new school year! Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) is back!! Beginning September 3rd FFVP will be ready for pickup during and after breakfast. Weekly/monthly, the cafeteria will provide a “Nutrition Nibble” which is a required component of participating in the FFVP. Every Tuesday-Thursday during the school year the cafeteria will provide fresh produce as a snack, with the exception of a Monday holiday, then the snack will be available Wednesday- Friday. I am so excited that the students at HSE are excited for book check out! Students have been enjoying the wonderful place that is the HSE Library Media Center. All are welcome!
Parents, please remember that students may not check out a book unless you signed the form stating that you allow your child to check out books from our Media Center. There was a space on your registration papers or your Parent FOCUS Portal to indicate your preference.
