During our daily P.L.A.Y.S. time in Ms. Baza's Kindergarten class at Hobe Sound Elementary, students are busy writing letters, mailing them, and taking turns as the mailman or mailwoman. The best part? The rich dialogue, teamwork, and problem‑solving happening every step of the way. So proud of these little communicators as they learn through play!

March is an important month for our HSE 5th graders as they begin truly preparing for middle school matriculation while also completing 5th grade learning . ✏️ We have several important dates and events to help students get ready for this exciting transition.
Throughout the month, students will learn more about middle school expectations and participate in activities that support a smooth transition to next year. 🏫✨ In addition, district progress monitoring occurs this month as we are closing in on state testing in May. It continues to be important that students arrive on time, well-rested, and ready to do their best. ⏰📚

🦁🐘 P.L.A.Y.S. Time Adventures at Hobe Sound Elementary! 🐘🦁
Our Kindergarten students were busy working as zookeepers during daily P.L.A.Y.S. Time at Hobe Sound Elementary! 🐒🦓 Students carefully checked off which animals were fed and which animals needed to visit the vet, showing responsibility and teamwork. ✔️📝
Through imaginative play, students practiced communication, problem-solving, and collaboration while caring for their zoo animals. It’s amazing to see our young learners thinking, planning, and learning together through play!

Through imaginative play, our young learners are building communication skills, teamwork, and confidence while having so much fun learning together!

Our Kindergarten students in Ms. Dolan's class were actively engaged in meaningful dialogue as they worked together to set up a café, prepare meals, and serve their customers during daily P.L.A.Y.S. time at Hobe Sound Elementary! 👩🍳
Students practiced communication, teamwork, and problem-solving while taking orders, preparing pretend food, and making sure their café ran smoothly.

If your child is eligible, they already have access — and they may even have books waiting on their bookshelf. 🎧📖
To get Learning Ally working at home:
1️⃣ Delete the Learning Ally app from your phone or iPad if it’s already installed.
2️⃣ Have your student log into ClassLink.
3️⃣ Open Learning Ally from there… and they’re in! 🎉
Now your child can dive into tons of amazing audiobooks all weekend long. Encourage them to read or listen to something great over the three‑day weekend! 🌟

From future leaders and innovators to helpers and creators, our students reminded us that the makers of tomorrow are sitting in our classrooms today. We are so proud of each one of them and the bright futures they are already imagining. ✨
