After reading and learning all about a famous dinosaur named Sue, Mrs. Clark’s 2nd graders put their paleontology skills to the test! 🦴✨ They carefully excavated dinosaurs from eggs, using special tools to chip away while making sure not to crack or break any precious fossils. It was an exciting hands-on experience that brought history to life—just like real paleontologists!

Mrs. Clark’s class had an exciting adventure with A Dino Named Sue! After reading about the incredible discovery of the T. rex, Sue, our young paleontologists put their creativity to the test. They learned how to draw a T. rex and then stepped into the shoes of Sue Hendrickson’s team—writing their own diary entries as if they were there on the day the famous fossil was found!
