The Elementary Cardboard Boat Race will be held on Saturday, May 17 at Sailfish Splash.
Students and families: put your creativity and teamwork to the testโ design boats out of cardboard to see who can float, race, and survive the splash zone.

Ms. Lunt's class had an amazing day today. Our kindergarteners had an egg-citing PEEP Day! From building 3D homes for our peeps to taste tests, graphing, writing, and even creating our own unique peeps โ we explored STEM, literacy, and creativity in the sweetest way! ๐ฅ๐










Ms. Lunt's class got to have some special visitors from third grade to read to us. Story time is extra special when itโs with our third grade buddies! Thank you to our friends from Mrs. Conrad's class for reading to us! ๐โค๏ธ









Third graders were treated to a special book reading by local author, nurse, and community activist, Marybeth Pena. She shared her book The KinDoo Journey inspired by her experience in the Peace Corps and Nicaragua. Thank you Ms. Marybeth. ๐ โค๏ธ






๐CELEBRATING ACADEMIC SUCCESS๐
The board room was full Tuesday night as Superintendent Michael Maine and our School Board honored the amazing achievements of our Odyssey of the Mind teams who advanced to State after an incredible showing at the Palms Regional Competition!
Superintendent Maine was also surprised with the prestigious Omer Award, recognizing his leadership and support for Odyssey of the Mind across our District. Out of 8 counties, Martin County leads the way in championing this powerful academic program!
Odyssey of the Mind teaches students essential life skills like collaboration, budgeting, time management, public speaking, and creative thinking. Itโs where future leaders are made!

Jensen Beach Elementary Schoolโs own Ms. Libertyโa dedicated and passionate science educatorโis making waves in environmental education and was recently featured in the Everglades Foundation Impact Report!
She shares how she brings science to life for students through hands-on lessons that connect them to their local ecosystemโigniting curiosity and a love for learning using the Everglades Literacy Program.
Ms. Liberty also celebrates Jensen Beach Elementary, the Center for Environmental Stewardship, earning Gold-Level Champion School status two years in a row for its commitment to conservation education. ๐๐ฑ

We had a blast celebrating our students in grades 3โ5 who read and passed an AR test on the Sunshine State books! These dedicated readers earned their spot at the party and enjoyed pizza, cupcakes, and some awesome prizes. So proud of all their hard workโkeep reading! Mrs. Clarkโs 2nd graders are teaming up to research how wind and water erosion have shaped our national parks. From canyons to arches, theyโre exploring the power of nature and learning through teamwork and curiosity. Weโre so proud of their hard work and discovery!
