Many of our families already know Ms. Dodge! She joined our second grade team at the beginning of the school year as a long-term substitute, and we are so excited to share that she has officially transitioned into the full-time teaching position with her class! 💙💛

A graduate of the University of Miami, Ms. Dodge first pursued a corporate career before following her lifelong goal of becoming an elementary teacher. She is passionate about helping students become the best versions of themselves while creating a warm, welcoming classroom where every child feels valued, supported, and confident.

🌴💙 JBE in the Community: A Back-to-School Throwback | Part 5 of 5 We’re wrapping up our weeklong throwback by celebrating the community at the heart of it all: Jensen Beach! For our final post, we’re highlighting visits with the Jensen Beach Chamber of Commerce, the History Museum of Jensen Beach, and Seacoast Bank. Our staff had the opportunity to learn more about the history, people, businesses, and partnerships that have shaped the community our school is so proud to be part of. Our back-to-school community experience was about more than visiting different places. It was about strengthening the connection between our school and the community we serve. We want our staff to know Jensen Beach, understand its story, and build relationships with the people and organizations who care about our students and families. To every community partner who welcomed our staff during our back-to-school launch, thank you. You gave us your time, shared your stories, opened your doors, and helped us start our year feeling even more connected to this incredible community. We are proud to be Jensen Beach Vikings, and we are so grateful to be surrounded by a community that supports our school! 💙💛

🥋🎳 JBE in the Community: A Back-to-School Throwback | Part 4 of 5 Our weeklong series continues with two more places that help make our community special! As part of our back-to-school launch, our staff visited Kung Fu Academy and Jensen Beach Bowl. Our teams had the chance to experience places where our families connect, have fun, and build new skills while getting to know the people who make those experiences possible. Getting out into our community gave our staff another opportunity to experience Jensen Beach through the eyes of the students and families we serve. Thank you to Kung Fu Academy and Jensen Beach Bowl for welcoming our teams and being such gracious hosts. We appreciate you sharing your time with us and are so grateful to have community partners who care about our kids and families! 💙💛

🛒🐔 JBE in the Community: A Back-to-School Throwback | Part 3 of 5 We’re halfway through our week of looking back at our staff’s adventures in the community! Our staff also spent time with two familiar Jensen Beach businesses, Publix and Chick-fil-A. Beyond being places many of our students, families, and staff know well, local businesses are an important part of the community we share. Our teams enjoyed connecting with the people behind these businesses and learning more about the teamwork and service that happen every day. Thank you to our Jensen Beach Publix and Chick-fil-A teams for taking the time to welcome our staff and be part of our back-to-school experience. We are so thankful for local businesses that support our community and help make Jensen Beach feel like home! 💙💛

Before welcoming our Vikings back to campus, our staff headed out into Jensen Beach and the surrounding community to learn more about the people, places, and organizations that make our community so special. We’re kicking off our weeklong series with the Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast! Our team had the opportunity to explore, learn, and see firsthand the incredible experiences available to children and families right here in our community. A huge thank you to the Children’s Museum for welcoming our staff and sharing your time with us.
