April is the Month of the Military Child and we are proud to recognize and celebrate some of our military children: Teagan (3rd) and Palmer (KG).
Their Mom Tori shares, "Being part of an active-duty Coast Guard family has so many benefits and challenges. Most importantly, it has shaped how deeply we value time together. Frequent moves, changing schedules or routines, and never truly knowing what comes next have taught us to stay flexible, support one another, and make the most of every moment—especially through little adventures whenever we can. We are incredibly proud of "Dada’s" sacrifice and service to his country and the example he sets every day. Our time at JBE has been especially meaningful, and we’re grateful for the strong friendships and supportive community we’ve built here, it truly feels like family."

Our 3rd graders had an amazing day exploring history, art, and innovation at the Elliott Museum! From fascinating exhibits to hands-on learning experiences, students were curious, engaged, and full of great questions. What a fun and memorable field trip! 🚌✨
At JBE, even our youngest learners are thinking big! 💙💛
Mrs. McIntyre’s first graders explored their ideas about space and had lots of opinions about their favorite parts! Students began with a “sentence scramble,” where they created a sentence, cut it apart, mixed it up, and then put it back together again.
They did an amazing job building complete sentences while strengthening their writing skills — all while having fun with their learning! 🚀✨
We loved celebrating our Positive Office Referral superstars this week!
🌟 These Vikings were recognized for making great choices, showing kindness, and living out our schoolwide expectations: Just Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Everyone’s Responsible.

The Stuart Middle School PTSA Future Jaguar Mixer for the Class of 2029 is this Friday, April 17 from 6:00–8:00 PM in the Stuart Middle School gymnasium.
The cost to attend is $8, and students can enjoy food and drinks, a photo booth, a live DJ, and games while meeting future classmates and getting excited about middle school.

Mrs. Clark’s 2nd graders put their skills to the test after a week-long story by becoming “paleontologists” for the day! 🦴🍪
Students carefully excavated chocolate chip cookies, working with patience and precision—just like the scientists who discovered Sue the dinosaur. They practiced observation, focus, and gentle techniques as they uncovered each “fossil” chocolate chip.
It was a fun and hands-on way to bring their learning to life and show just how skilled these young scientists can be! 🦕✨
