I am so proud of the hard work this Mini-Vikings have been doing both at home and at school. We hope to have many more students turn in their reading logs and earn a trip to the book vending machine! This week, our media center is the scene of a thrilling whodunit! A book mysteriously went missing, and our young detectives are on the case! 🧐🔍
Students have been participating in Mystery Week, where they have been: 🎥 Watching the surveillance video 🎤 Listening to suspect interviews 🚶♀️ Investigating the crime scene 📂 Going through evidence folders
While some clever detectives have cracked the case, there are still classes on the hunt!🏆 It’s been an exciting week of teamwork, critical thinking, and fun! 🕵️♂️📖
Ms. Lunt's Kindergarten class has been learning about characters in stories. Today they whisper read and discussed one of the characters in their story. Then students were tasked with writing a sentence about the character and included a photo. Great job kindergarteners ! 📖✏️🐅🐯

To practice their counting skills, Ms. Lunt's class completed a Halloween themed "Count around the room" activity. They had to work together and count halloween pictures in different spots around the classroom. Great job Kindergarten! 🎃😊

A HUGE shout out to our JBE Vikings and their families that donated items throughout this week to benefit those who have lost so much during Hurricane Milton in our community. Thanks to two special volunteers, we were able to pack a car full of donations and deliver straight to Elev8hope for distribution to those in need.
