Good morning, JBE family, and Happy Thanksgiving. Today we’re pausing to appreciate the people who make our school such a special place. We’re thankful for our students who bring joy, curiosity, and heart to our school every day. We’re thankful for our incredible teachers and staff who pour their passion into helping children learn and grow. And we’re thankful for our families, volunteers, and community partners whose support lifts our school in countless ways. However you celebrate, we hope your holiday is filled with rest, connection, and moments that remind you of what matters most. From our JBE family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving. 💙💛🦃

Our fourth graders are thriving in music with Mr. Skrobinski. He’s been guiding them through xylophone practice while helping them build a strong foundation in music theory, and their growth has been incredible to see. Students are learning how to read, play, and connect music in meaningful ways, and their confidence is shining through. We’re grateful for the energy, patience, and joy Mr. Skrobinski brings to his classroom every day. Way to go, fourth graders, and thank you, Mr. Skrobinski, for inspiring our musicians. 🎵💙💛

Our kindergarten students brought a little magic to JBE last week with their very own Balloons Over Broadway parade. After reading the beloved book and learning about the creativity behind the Macy’s parade balloons, our students designed and built their own balloon characters. They proudly marched through the school, sharing their hard work, imagination, and big kindergarten creativity with all of us. It was such a joyful celebration of reading, learning, and hands-on fun. We’re so proud of our youngest learners for bringing this tradition to life in such a special way. 💙💛🎈

We’re proud to share a special celebration from last week that filled our JBE family with joy. Taylor Grand, an outstanding 5th grade student, was recognized by the Jensen Beach Chamber of Commerce as Student of the Month. Taylor is the kind of student who lifts others up, works with quiet determination, and shows what it means to lead with heart. We’re so lucky to have her representing JBE. We’re equally thrilled to celebrate Mrs. Lauren Liberty, our incredible science teacher, who was honored as Teacher of the Month. Lauren brings curiosity, excitement, and genuine care into her classroom every single day. Her students feel it. Our staff feels it. Our whole school is better because of her. Please join us in congratulating Taylor and Mrs. Liberty. Their hard work, kindness, and positive spirit make us all proud to be part of Jensen Beach Elementary. 💙💛

Mrs. Clark’s 2nd graders loved learning all about the history of the Macy’s Day Parade this week! 🎈 After exploring how the iconic balloons came to be, they got to design their very own balloon they’d want to see floating down the parade route. Their creativity was sky-high! 🎉🦃

🦃✨ This week our students took time to reflect on what they are thankful for. Together, we created a “Thankful Turkey” in the media center, with each feather representing their words of gratitude. It’s a beautiful reminder of the many things we appreciate and the joy of coming together as a school family. 💛 Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁

Fifteen countries came together to build and maintain the International Space Station (ISS), and people have lived there for over 20 years. It takes a lot of teamwork on the ISS and to raise funds for our school. Learn more in today’s video at MyBooster.com.
