This morning, we are shining a spotlight on Jensen Beach High School senior Hannah Whetzel!
"Where do I start–through my life I’ve had so many amazing memories , bowling has been the best by far," the proud senior shared. "The amount of friends I have met will last a life time. The sport has taught me how to open up and take chances, whether that be on the lanes between me and the shot I’m about to throw, or simply in life meeting new people. I’ve met my best friends through the sport, to name a few: Will, Chase, Aiden, lo, Carly, Cam, Brooke. Then most importantly Dylan my boyfriend (who’s a great bowler himself). They are truly the setting stones in my life, they push me to be a better person everyday."
"That’s why I’m choosing to go to Belmont Abbey College, I’m gratefully to have got chosen to receive a scholarship to bowl for them," Hannah continued. "I’m not fully sure what route I plan to take career wise but I know whatever I choose I will exceed in. I plan to be one of greats in life and have no doubt I will be. I would like to thank my parents and all my teachers who have also pushed me to be a self-starter in life. A teacher in singular I would like to shoutout is Mr. Specht, my yearbook advisor. Going into the program has brought out my love for design all over again, after losing my spark. He pushed me to be the Design Editor for our publishing company and I couldn’t be anymore thankful that he did."
🎉 Congratulations, Hannah! 🎉 Thank you for your willingness to serve. Wishing you all the best in your next chapter!
