🚨10th graders who are not taking English on JBHS campus and 11th graders who are not taking US History on JBHS campus MUST visit the JBHS Auditorium some time on Thursday to get their picture taken.

Attention all juniors and seniors: Did you love your AP Human Geography, World History, U.S. History, or Psychology classes? Do you have an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher? Did you get all As and Bs in at least 2 Social Studies classes?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are invited to the Rho Kappa interest meeting this Wednesday right after school in room 4-126. Rho Kappa is the National Social Studies Honor Society. We will discuss more about the club and its requirements at the meeting. We hope to see you there!

Girls’ Bowling: Lizzie Fitzwater, Jensen Beach - Helping the Falcons to wins in a pair of matches, the senior rolled a 200 against South Fork.
Volleyball: Jasmine Fortson, Jensen Beach - The senior setter dished out 33 assists and had five aces during a sweep against Sebastian River.
Volleyball: Samaya Hennessy, Jensen Beach - The senior outside hitter produced 16 kills and five aces during a sweep against Sebastian River.

Football: Dre Lott, Jensen Beach - Inserted into the quarterback position midway through the first quarter, the sophomore completed 10 of his 17 passes for 226 yards and two scores to lead the Falcons past South Fork.
Boys’ Bowling: Aiden Wintercorn, Jensen Beach - Wintercorn bowled a high game of 247 to help the Falcons defeat Martin County.

We will have the ELA PM1 test on Tuesday, 8/26, for ALL 9/10th graders. JBHS will be on a testing bell schedule (TBA).
On Thursday, 8/28, students will take ALG/GEO PM1 in their designated math classes, but JBHS will remain on a regular schedule.
All students participating in these tests should bring their fully charged school laptop with a charger. If any students need a school laptop or a repair, visit Latops4Learning before school or during lunch. Beginning Thursday, 8/21, students may check for designated room assignments outside of guidance, cafeteria, innovation center, and in Bldg. 4.
Bathrooms were vandalized. If you see something wrong, say something to an adult! We need to have pride in our school!
SPORTS NEWS
Both the boys’ and girls’ bowling teams started the season with victories over district rival Martin County High School. The girls’ team, led by Senior Lizzie Fitzwater’s 361 series, defeated the Lady Tigers, 2-0. Senior Aiden Wintercorn rolled a high game of 247, leading the boys’ team to a win in the tie-break.
Both teams face South Fork High School on Thursday at Jensen Beach Bowl.
Congratulations to our volleyball teams, who won yesterday as well!
