📚MAKING THEIR MARK📚 For Celebrate Literacy Week, Jensen Beach High School competed in a bookmark design contest around the theme of “Take a Deep Dive into Literacy--Splash Into New Worlds." Several students participated and created stunning masterpieces! The top four winners received a $20 Barnes & Noble gift card to help continue to foster their love of reading! Congratulations to Tatum, Gianna, Cameron and Tanner! We also have another student to congratulate...Jensen Beach High School's "Caught Reading" winner is Emily Agganis! The name of the game was "Caught Reading." Any student 'caught reading' by staff received a ticket for Celebrate Literacy Week. The “Design a Bookmark” contest is underway! To enter, simply create your bookmark on any piece of paper using the dimensions of approximately 2”x7”. All submissions are due Monday, January 23rd. The winner will be announced on the morning of Friday, January 27th. Please keep the theme in mind when creating your bookmark. All submissions must include original art and be school appropriate. The Sunshine State Scholars program recognizes Florida's top-performing 11th graders in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). Each scholar, along with their parents, will travel to Orlando for an extraordinary program designed to bring together scholars from around the state, connect them with employers that specialize in the STEM fields, and create a networking opportunity between the scholars and schools from Florida’s College and State University System. 🏐🏆HONORING CHAMPIONS🏐🏆 Superintendent Dr. John D. Millay and the Martin County School Board honored Jensen Beach High School's State Champion Volleyball team this evening. The team cruised to a 29-3 record on their way to earning the Florida High School Athletic Association's 2022-2023 Class 5A state title, their fifth in program history. The Lady Falcons have been equally successful in the classroom this year, earning a team GPA of 3.7 (5th highest team GPA in Florida). Six scholar-athletes maintain a perfect 4.0 GPA.
