🌟CELEBRATING NEW LEADERSHIP🌟 Please join us in welcoming Mr. Gregory Bottari, J.D. Parker Elementary School's new Assistant Principal! Mr. Bottari’s appointment was approved during Tuesday night's Regular School Board Meeting. The former Assistant Principal, Ms. Shameeka White, is the new Assistant Principal of Curriculum at Stuart Middle School. Mr. Bottari joins the Martin County School District with experience in school leadership, as he was most recently the Principal of Barnum Woods Elementary School in New York. Mr. Bottari has also served as an assistant principal and science teacher. Congratulations, Mr. Bottari! #ALLINMartin👊

Our Food & Nutrition Services Department continues to offer free meals to ALL children aged 18 and under during the summer months with no income restrictions. Breakfasts and lunches are now being served at a few locations, but more sites will be available starting June 3. Our Summer Feeding Bus is back on the road this year! 🔬SPOTLIGHT ON STEM🔬 This year, J.D. Parker Elementary School put STEM education in the spotlight, incorporating science, technology, engineering and math into their celebrations. Math skills were showcased alongside traditional performances during Hispanic Heritage Month. In February, families and students engaged in a variety of STEM-related activities and explored the contributions of Black leaders in STEM at the school's Black History Month event. 🎉CELEBRATING MATHLETES🎉 This past weekend, all Martin County School District-operated elementary schools participated in the 2nd Annual MCSD 5th Grade Math Olympics! The arena: Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School. The events: individual and team rounds in problem-solving, critical thinking, and speed math. Every team was shooting for gold, but after the calculations were tallied, the Crystal Lake Elementary School Hawks won the gold, earning the title of District Champion. The Jensen Beach Elementary School Vikings took home silver and the J.D. Parker Elementary School Rockets got the bronze.
