💙💛 AVID at MCHS: Preparing Students for What’s Next! 💙💛
AVID is so much more than an elective—it’s a program that helps students see what’s possible and gives them the tools, support, and confidence to get there.
Our AVID Elective students receive customized college and career preparation, including academic support, college exploration, goal-setting, organizational strategies, and opportunities to develop the skills needed for success after high school.
AVID is also schoolwide! Our teachers incorporate AVID strategies into their classrooms to increase student engagement, strengthen critical thinking, promote collaboration, and help students take ownership of their learning.
But the best measure of AVID’s impact is hearing directly from our students. Take a look at the attached photos to read what our students in Mr. Biancone's classes have to say about how AVID has influenced their high school experience, their goals, and their future.
We are incredibly proud of our AVID students, AVID teachers, and the entire MCHS community for embracing a culture that encourages every student to believe in themselves and reach their potential.

💙🐯 Take What You Need, Tigers 🐯💛
Sometimes, a few encouraging words can make all the difference.
Maddie Axtell, Class of 2028 President, and a fellow Tiger came up with a simple idea: create “Take What You Need” boards filled with positive messages that anyone could take whenever they needed a little encouragement.
The boards are for everyone. Students, teachers, administrators, custodians, staff, and anyone walking through our halls can stop, take a message, and carry a little positivity with them.
✨ Need some courage? Take it.
💛 Need a reminder that you matter? Take it.
💙 Need a little encouragement to keep going? Take it.
The message behind the boards is beautifully simple: everyone needs something different, and sometimes the right words at the right moment can make a difference.
Most importantly, they remind our Tiger Family of something we never want anyone to forget:
You are not alone. You matter. And there are people at MCHS who care. We care. 💙💛
Thank you to our students for turning compassion into action and finding a meaningful way to lift up our entire school community. 🐯

A heartfelt THANK YOU to TC3 Church for treating our MCHS staff to a delicious Chick-fil-A lunch! 🐔🍽️
Ronald Duprat, TC3 Next Gen High School Representative, Christian Gorman, TC3 Next Gen Pastor, Colby Kuba, Next Gen Mioddle School Representative, along with other wonderful members of the TC3 Church community, came out to personally serve our staff and, most importantly, to say thank you for the work our educators do each day.
Their message reminded us that we are not only educating students. We are helping prepare the future leaders, givers, and contributing members of our Martin County community. 💙💛
We are incredibly grateful for community partners like TC3 Church who take the time to support, encourage, and appreciate our Tiger family.
Thank you, TC3 Church, for the delicious lunch, the warm wishes, and for showing our staff just how much they are appreciated! Thank you for reminding our Tiger Family that our community is cheering us on!🐯💙💛
