💙💛 AVID Spotlight: A Visit from the United States Marine Corps! 💛💙
Our AVID students had the incredible opportunity to hear from Sergeant Nicholas Hartzler and his team from the United States Marine Corps! 🇺🇸🐯
Sergeant Hartzler shared his personal journey in the Marines, spoke about the many benefits of military service, and highlighted the growth, discipline, and purpose he has found through his experiences.
Students asked thoughtful questions about career opportunities, training, education, and day‑to‑day life in the military—and the team provided inspiring, honest insight into this important career pathway.
We deeply appreciate Sergeant Hartzler and his team for taking the time to connect with our Tigers and support their college and career readiness goals. Thank you for your service and for investing in our students’ futures! 💪📚

🍎ON TIME. ALL IN. UNSTOPPABLE.🍎

Spring Break is almost here—but the days before and after are full of opportunities! 💪📚 When students show up on time, go All In, and build strong habits, they set themselves up to be truly Unstoppable. Let’s finish the year strong, Martin County School District families, because every day counts!

Every day in school matters
🌞 Spring Break is almost here, Tigers! 🌞
Before we head into a well‑deserved week of rest and recharge, we want to pause and say THANK YOU to our amazing families. The countless ways you support your child’s success each day truly make a difference. Your partnership matters—and right now, it matters more than ever. 💙💛
At the Martin County School District, we believe Every Day Counts — On Time. All In. Unstoppable.
Each school day offers something students can’t always get back later: hands‑on learning, collaboration, and the relationships that help them grow confident, connected, and ready to succeed.
As we approach the break, help your student finish strong by encouraging them to:
⏰ Arrive on time and ready for the day
🔥 Be ALL IN—engaged and focused
💪 Build the habits that make them UNSTOPPABLE through the end of the year
We know that illness happens—student health always comes first. But when students are feeling well, being in school helps keep their learning steady and their momentum strong. Missing just two days a month adds up to almost 10% of the school year—and that can impact progress at every grade level.
If your family is experiencing challenges that make attendance difficult, please reach out to your school. We’re here to support you, and help is always available.
Thank you for making attendance a shared priority. Let’s finish the school year strong—together.
On Time. All In. UNSTOPPABLE. 💙💛🐯

Celebrate the Class of 2026
🐯💙 TIGERS, LET’S ROAR! 💛🐯
MCHS is excited to roll out our NEW PBIS expectations using the acronym ROAR— a simple way to remind all Tigers what positive behavior looks like on campus.
🔵 What is PBIS?
PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.
It’s a schoolwide framework that teaches, encourages, and rewards positive behavior to help create a safe, supportive, and productive learning environment. When students demonstrate expected behaviors, they earn ROAR Tickets that can be used for special rewards and events.

🐯 ROAR Expectations
Our Tigers ROAR when they are:
🔷 R – Respectful
🔷 O – On‑Task
🔷 A – Accountable
🔷 R – Responsible
Students who consistently demonstrate these expectations can earn ROAR Tickets for our PBIS Rewards Program!

🎉 Upcoming PBIS Reward Events
Here’s what students can use their ROAR Tickets on:
🍦 Thursday, March 12
Ice Cream During Lunch — 5 tickets
🏖️ Friday, March 13
Spring Break Beach Bag Raffle — 1 ticket per entry
🍽️ Thursday, March 26
Prom Dinner Gift Card Raffle — 1 ticket per entry
🥚 Thursday, April 2
Egg Hunt During Lunch — NO tickets required — everyone can join!

Let’s continue to show what it means to ROAR like a Tiger every day at MCHS! 💙💛
