During last week’s board meeting, the Martin County School Board and Superintendent Michael Maine proudly recognized FRC 180 S.P.A.M. Robotics for an unforgettable season of innovation, teamwork, and achievement. 👏
The team earned Regional Championship titles in Orlando and South Florida, received multiple honors, including the Excellence in Engineering and Autonomous Awards, and finished as division finalists at the World Championship in Houston.
Even more impressive, the S.P.A.M. Robotics Class of 2026 became the winningest class in program history with 13 competition wins over four years!!

Students in PE with Coach Harris, Coach Padgett, and Coach Taylor at MCHS are doing more than just staying active—they’re gaining life-saving skills that matter!
Our PE classes are participating in CPR Awareness & Training using resources from the American Heart Association. Through engaging videos, students are learning the basics of chest compression CPR and AED use—skills that could one day help them save a life. ❤️
👏 While this is not a certification course, it’s an important opportunity for students to build awareness, confidence, and readiness in emergency situations. Every class that participates is one step closer to a safer, more prepared community!

📢 Attention MCHS Students: Chromebook Replacement Required! 💻
The district has identified that some student Chromebooks are running the OSFlex version of Chrome, which will no longer be supported after August 2026. To make sure you're ready for next school year, these devices must be replaced before summer break.

Check your Class of Schoology page for the list of students whose devices are affected.

Tuesday, May 26 – Juniors
Wednesday, May 27 – Sophomores
Thursday, May 28 – Freshmen

From detailed reproductions of historical figures to edible timelines and iconic events, these cakes weren’t just desserts—they were delicious works of art that told powerful stories from the past. 🎨📚
Each creation showcased not only a strong understanding of history, but also teamwork, creativity, and attention to detail. It’s clear these students didn’t just learn history… they made it sweet! 🍰✨

👗 Dress Code Reminder for Graduation:
✔️ Females: Dress, skirt, or dress slacks with dress shoes or sandals (with back/heel straps)
✔️ Males: Dress slacks, white dress shirt, tie, dress shoes, and dark socks
🎓 Cords & stoles must be school-issued
🚫 No jeans, flip flops, or tennis shoes
