It is with great excitement that I share with you that the MCHS 2020-2021 graduation rate of 97.2 % is the highest graduation rate MCHS has ever earned since graduation rate started being calculated and incorporated into the school grade formula (2009). The 97.2 % Grad Rate represents a 2.7% increase over the 2019-2020 Grad Rate and is higher than both the state and district average! At MCHS our vision is “Every student will graduate college and career capable.” We so greatly appreciate the support of our families and community as we strive to realize our vision.
🎓EDUCATING ALL STUDENTS FOR SUCCESS🎓
🎉Add this to the list of things we are celebrating in the new year - the District earned its highest graduation ever in 2021! 🎉
According to data released Tuesday by the Florida Department of Education, MCSD earned a graduation rate of 94.1% in 2021, a 3.9 percentage point increase over its graduation rate of 90.2% in 2020. The graduation rate for the three traditional, District-operated high schools - Jensen Beach High School, Martin County High School and South Fork High School- increased to 97.1% in 2021, an increase of 1.8 percentage points over last year's rate and 7 percentage points above the state's overall graduation rate of 90.1%.
