MCHS is excited to roll out our NEW PBIS expectations using the acronym ROAR— a simple way to remind all Tigers what positive behavior looks like on campus.
🔵 What is PBIS?
PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.
It’s a schoolwide framework that teaches, encourages, and rewards positive behavior to help create a safe, supportive, and productive learning environment. When students demonstrate expected behaviors, they earn ROAR Tickets that can be used for special rewards and events.
🐯 ROAR Expectations
Our Tigers ROAR when they are:
🔷 R – Respectful
🔷 O – On‑Task
🔷 A – Accountable
🔷 R – Responsible
Students who consistently demonstrate these expectations can earn ROAR Tickets for our PBIS Rewards Program!
🎉 Upcoming PBIS Reward Events
Here’s what students can use their ROAR Tickets on:
🍦 Thursday, March 12
Ice Cream During Lunch — 5 tickets
🏖️ Friday, March 13
Spring Break Beach Bag Raffle — 1 ticket per entry
🍽️ Thursday, March 26
Prom Dinner Gift Card Raffle — 1 ticket per entry
🥚 Thursday, April 2

Let’s continue to show what it means to ROAR like a Tiger every day at MCHS! 💙💛

Our Tigers are sharpening their skills—literally! In Nutrition & Wellness, students practiced professional knife cuts using the play dough they made in class.
Why play dough?
✨ It’s safe
✨ It’s hands‑on
✨ And it helps students master precision before moving to real ingredients!
From julienne to dice, students are building real culinary foundations that translate directly into confidence in the kitchen and future career pathways.
This is what Career & Technical Education (CTE) is all about—learning by doing, exploring passions, and preparing for real‑world success.
Way to go, Nutrition & Wellness Tigers! Keep slicing, dicing, and shining! 🔪🐯
