๐ Celebrating CTE Month at MCHS!
Today, weโre highlighting one of our most dynamic Career & Technical Education programs: Air Force JROTC โ๏ธ๐๐
The AFJROTC program at Martin County High School gives students an incredible blend of academic enrichment, handsโon experiences, and real-world leadership development. Cadets stay active and engaged through:
๐น Exciting field trips throughout the year
๐น More than a dozen clubs and competitive teams
๐น Sports and physical fitness activities
๐น An average of 16 hours of community service annually, building pride and purpose in our local community
Along the way, cadets form lifelong friendships while developing valuable leadership, management, and career-ready skillsโall grounded in aerospace science and the guiding principles of the United States Air Force.
๐ผ This is CTE in action: preparing students to lead, serve, think critically, and pursue careers with confidence.

At Martin County High School, students donโt just learn about public safetyโthey train for it. Under the leadership of experienced instructor Mr. Ben Lawrynas, Tigers gain handsโon experience that prepares them for real careers in emergency response and communications.
๐ฅ Program Highlight:
Seniors in the Criminal Justice program have the opportunity to earn the Florida 911 Public Safety Telecommunicator certificationโa stateโrecognized credential that many MCHS students have already achieved! This certification opens the door to stepping directly into emergency communications roles as soon as they turn 18.
๐ฅ Why This Program Stands Out:

โ๏ธ Direct pathways into public safety
โ๏ธ Industry-recognized certification
