Ms. Leon’s Pre-AICE Biology students at MCHS took science to the next level by building 3D models of the four major biological macromolecules: Proteins, Lipids, Carbohydrates, and Nucleic Acids! 💥
As part of their deep dive into the standard “Describe the basic molecular structures and primary functions of the four major categories of biological macromolecules,” students transformed complex concepts into hands-on creations that show off both their scientific understanding and artistic flair. 🧠✨
From colorful chains of amino acids to lipid bilayers and sugar rings, these models are more than just projects—they’re proof that learning can be interactive, imaginative, and inspiring.

His visit was enlightening, interactive, and fun — bringing the story of The Great American Experiment and the creation and purpose of the Constitution to life through a dynamic Q&A session.
