🇺🇸🇭🇹 Unlikely Heroes Come to Life in Ms. Paez’s Class! 🎨📚
During their powerful unit on the American and Haitian Revolutions, students in Ms. Paez’s class took a creative approach to history — designing posters that spotlighted Unlikely Heroes who shaped the fight for freedom.
Among them?
👧 A fearless teenage girl
👩👧 A determined mother of two
🌍 A Portuguese immigrant
🎖️ A former British general turned American patriot
✊ A formerly enslaved Black man who helped ignite revolution in Haiti
These inspiring figures remind us that heroism knows no boundaries — and that everyday people can change the course of history.
Incredible work by our students for honoring these voices and bringing history to life! 🕊️🔥

💙 At Martin County High School, service isn’t just a value—it’s a promise. 💙
This year, the National Honor Society was honored to support Molly’s House, a local nonprofit in Stuart that has provided over 24,000 patients and families with temporary, affordable accommodations during medical crises.
Through their Adopt-a-Family Program, Molly’s House ensures that families in the toughest moments of their lives have not only a place to stay—but also the comfort of food and care. We were proud to donate hundreds of pantry items to help restock their shelves and support this incredible mission.
With over 300 members coming together in compassion, we hope our efforts make even a small difference in the lives of those staying at Molly’s House. Thank you to their staff and volunteers for the tireless work you do—we’re grateful to be part of something so meaningful. 💛
