🎨🦁 Murray Middle School Art Club on the Move! 🦁🎨
Our Murray Middle School Art Club had an amazing, art‑filled day on Friday, April 24th, visiting the Norton Art Museum alongside the Port Salerno Elementary School Art Club! 🎉🖼️
Students had the opportunity to explore inspiring works of art, learn about different styles and artists, and then put that inspiration into action by creating their own artwork. It was a day full of creativity, collaboration, and hands‑on learning beyond the classroom.
We love seeing our Murray Lions connect with art in new ways and share experiences with younger artists from our community. Thank you to our teachers and chaperones for making this memorable field trip possible!

🎶✨ Bravo, Murray Middle School Chorus! ✨🎶
What a night to remember, what a concert indeed—
Voices soaring with purpose, with passion, with speed!
From first note to last bow, the magic was clear,
Your spring concert brought goosebumps, laughter, and cheer.
Each harmony shimmered, each lyric took flight,
Filling hearts with emotion, the stage glowing bright.
So much heart, so much soul, every singer shone through—
A community proud of the music and you.
🎤 A super‑special shout‑out—loud, joyful, and true—
To our fabulous emcees who led us right through:
Caitlin Schoepf, Itzel Ponce, Jordan Van,
Genesia Bailey, Turahji Hatcher, what a fan!
With Carlie Goldstein and Layla Smith rounding out the crew,
Grace, confidence, polish—each of you flew!
🌟 And wow—those moments that truly stood tall:
The 8th Grade Girls Special Ensemble, powerful and bright,
The 8th Grade Boys Special Group, owning the night.
Your performances moved us, every note spoke loud,
Talent, teamwork, and bravery—you made us so proud.
As photos are shared, relive moments so sweet,
Of music, of memories, of rhythm and beat.
Murray Middle Chorus, take a well‑earned bow—
You raised the roof then… and you’re still ringing now! 🎶👏

In February, the FFA Meat Evaluation Team placed 9th out of 28 teams in the preliminary contest, earning a spot in the top 10 and advancing to the state competition, where only the top 10 teams qualify.
This past weekend, they traveled to Gainesville to compete at the University of Florida and finished 6th overall in the state.
Congratulations, Lions! We are so proud of you! 🦁💙
🎶 It’s Wednesday, hooray—let’s sing the day away! 🎶
