Our second School Advisory Council (SAC) meeting will be this Friday, 9/23, in the MMS media center at 8:15 am. New members and guests are welcome!
We will be reviewing and voting on 2 funds requests, one for literacy incentives and one for a teaching conference. Also on the agenda is sharing the Schoolwide Improvement Plan draft and other news of what's going on around campus.

Ms. Peak's 7th grade classes experience Life as a Rock in the Rock Cycle.




Students in Mrs. Garcia’s reading class enjoyed a visit from Jessielou, a Paws to Read dog, her handler Sally, and Director of the program, Jessie. The program was created by the Murray Middle School library Media Specialist, Mrs. Creber in conjunction with the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. It affords students the opportunity to read and practice fluency with dogs that enjoy listening.




6th graders in Mrs. Dolan’s agriculture class began germinating seeds yesterday. They utilized donated rotisserie chicken containers to act as miniature greenhouses, and took data on their seeds. We will check back in 7 days to see how many seeds have germinated!




Students in Mrs. Dolan’s 8th grade agriculture class work on coloring and labeling plant and animal cell diagrams.
