The week October 17th-21st, we are celebrating Character Counts Week. Join us by wearing the color on the day indicated below:
Monday, Oct. 17th -wear BLUE for Trustworthiness
Tuesday, Oct. 18th -wear YELLOW for Respect
Wednesday, Oct. 19th- wear ORANGE for Fairness AND Unity Day (United Against Bullying)
Thursday, Oct. 20th- wear GREEN for Responsibility
Friday, Oct. 21st – wear PURPLE for Citizenship
Red Ribbon Week kickoff is on Monday, Oct. 24th-Please wear RED
All District-operated schools are closed today in observance of Yom Kippur. Classes will resume Thursday, October 6.

Hello Pinewood Family,
We hope everyone is well and stayed safe during the storm. Our school is ready to welcome back students tomorrow, Friday, September 30. We look forward to seeing their smiling faces.
We will be rescheduling our Student of The Month celebration that was scheduled for tomorrow morning.

Families and Employees - Our District team has been working to address any individual needs that may exist for our sites. Fortunately, our District was spared from receiving significant, severe damage from the storm. As a result, we will resume classes and operations tomorrow, September 30, 2022.
Food & Nutrition Services will offer free meals to all students tomorrow. All employees will return to their normal schedules - employees who are not able to return to work tomorrow are asked to make contact with their supervisors today.

Families and Employees - as Hurricane Ian approaches Florida, the decision has been made to close all District-operated schools and offices on September 28 and 29, 2022.
