✨ Empower Hour with Captain Errol Thurston ✨
During Black History Month, our Empower Hours will spotlight incredible Black leaders, professionals, and community members who share their stories, wisdom, and real-world experiences with our students. We are proud to create space for voices that inspire, uplift, and show resilience in action.
Captain Errol Thurston shared the twists and turns of his career journey, from EMT to fisherman, and spoke honestly about his experiences in school and in life. He reminded students that no matter the path they choose, whether it includes higher education or not, a high school diploma and a strong educational foundation help propel them forward. We are grateful for Captain Thurston’s authenticity, humor, and real talk. Moments like these show what it truly means to be Unstoppable Together. #EmpowerHour #BlackHistoryMonth #RootedInResilience #UnstoppableTogether #AuthenticStorytelling

When literacy leads the way, every chapter of learning becomes a page‑turner. #ReadWhiteandBlue #LiteracyWeek #RootedInReading #UnstoppableTogether

⚡️ Empower Hour is back! ⚡️
Spectrum Academy welcomed Dr. Jason Townsley, DC from Merritt Chiropractic to our campus today to share his powerful story with our Eagle community. Through honesty and vulnerability, Dr. Jason showed our students that no matter their circumstances, growth and opportunity are always possible when they are ready to embrace them. He left our Eagles knowing they can live their very best lives. We are grateful to Dr. Jason for spending time with us and empowering our Eagles! 🤍🦅

The Eagles are off to an incredible start in 2026! 🦅 Campus attendance is strong, engagement is high, and positive energy is everywhere.
One standout moment this week was Ms. Duran leading students through a meaningful goal-setting lesson. Students created and shared virtual vision boards highlighting what they want to improve, learn, and achieve in 2026, cheering each other on along the way.
We’re so proud of our Eagles for starting the year focused, motivated, and always ready to grow! ✨🎓

🦅💙 Happy Law Enforcement Appreciation Day! The Spectrum Academy Eagles are giving a big thank you to our amazing SRO, D/S Ouellette! 👮♂️ From keeping our campus safe to supporting our students with kindness and advice, D/S Ouellette always shows up for our Eagles. We’re lucky to have you. Thank you for all you do! 🦅✨
