We asked our students to help us keep things fresh by bringing in their completed Yellow Card Packets or updating contact information in the FOCUS Parent Portal - and they delivered! 📋✅ So naturally, we celebrated with the only reasonable reward: Culver’s ice cream! 🍦🎉

Our Eagle team had an incredible day learning with Nancy Nielsen from the National Dropout Prevention Center. We were reminded that there's always more to learn and understand about one another - even when we think we know someone well. We also reflected on how our words, actions, and expectations shape the narrative for our students. By raising rigor, we create more opportunities for students to discover their talents, recognize their worth, and reach their full potential.

Spectrum Academy was proud to represent at the MCSD’s back to school community celebration with. It was a day filled with connection, pride, and a powerful reminder of what makes our school so special. The highlight of the day was meeting two Eagles from different generations who walked the halls of our campus.
Mr. Albert Brinkley attended school here when it was the Stuart Training School. His knowledge of our campus's rich history is something to be treasured. He shared stories that remind us where we've come from and inspire us to preserve those memories for future generations.
We also had the opportunity to connect with Ronlee Manning, who attended Spectrum Academy about five years ago. Mr. Manning shared how the educators at Spectrum made a lasting impact on his life. Because of their support, he graduated from high school and is now an electrical apprentice with a bright future ahead of him.
Spectrum Academy is more than a school. It is a place deeply rooted in history, strengthened by its community, and dedicated to helping every student build a successful future. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle! 🦅 We're proud of our past, inspired by our present, and ready for more.

Today we were lucky enough to attend New Educator Orientation (NEO) with our school counselor, Maureen Ruiz! 🍎✨ Although Mrs. Ruiz joined the Spectrum Academy family at the very end of last school year, we wanted her to have the opportunity to experience everything NEO has to offer and to soak up all she could learn about the incredible Martin County School District
