SFHS choir students performed at the Epcot Candlelight Processional this week. For the performance they were considered “celebrities” for the evening. Our wonderful Choir Director Mrs. Rogers was dubbed an honorary “cast member” as well. The performance was narrated by Luis Fonsi and the choir was made up of 215 students from 4 different high schools, paired with Disney's amazing Voices Of Liberty. The experience was truly remarkable.

Dive into a sea of science fun at the 2023 Indian River Lagoon Science Festival this Saturday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Fort Pierce! It's FREE day of discovery that will be a blast for the whole family with dozens of hands-on, minds-on activities exploring the wonders of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM). The Indian River Lagoon Science Festival aims to show the importance of science and highlight how fun it can be! In addition to more than 70 hands-on educational STEAM exhibits, stage shows, raffles and food trucks, there will be free admission to the Smithsonian Exhibit at the St. Lucie County Aquarium and Regional History Center! This is the first year Elev8Hope handed a trophy to the victors, as this competition in years past was tallied in-house by the high schools. SFHS broke a record and donated 539 baskets! The Bulldogs might have won the brand-new trophy, but all of our high schools were champions for our community! Hundreds of families in Martin County will have a Thanksgiving Day meal thanks to the generosity (and light-hearted competitiveness 🏆) of our students!
