Congratulations to Hidden Oaks Middle School's Grace Arnston, whose vibrant artwork, “Pop,” has been selected for the Art in the Capitol program!
Grace’s piece will travel to Tallahassee with Rep. Toby Overdorf and be displayed in the Florida Capitol throughout the 2025–2026 legislative session—a remarkable honor and a testament to her talent and hard work!

🛒GRATEFUL FOR REAL-WORLD LEARNING🛒
Our Martin SAILS students recently had the opportunity to step out of the classroom and into the aisles of Publix—exploring departments, practicing jobs like cashiering and bagging, and even learning about the popular foods families shop for during the holiday season.
This hands-on experience was part of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, which celebrates the value and talent individuals with varying exceptionalities bring to our workplaces and community. Opportunities like this help prepare our students for future employment by building confidence, practical skills, and real-world understanding.
We are grateful to the Archer Disability Foundation and Publix for opening their doors, sharing their expertise, and giving our students a meaningful learning experience they truly enjoyed! 🫶💚

This morning, we saw the true heart of #ALLINMartin👊 on full display.
At Elev8Hope, volunteers from across our community, including Superintendent Maine and School Board Member Amy Pritchett, came together to load more than 5,000 Thanksgiving baskets—baskets largely donated by our students and given directly to classmates and families experiencing a moment of need.
Our students showed what it truly means to care for one another. Their generosity and compassion reflect the very best of who we are as a District.
We’re also grateful for the essential work of our school social workers, who ensure these baskets reach the families who need them most, and for Elev8hope Compassion in Action, the founder and vessel that brings this initiative to life each year.
And HUGE congratulations to South Fork High School, which earned the coveted Elev8Hope trophy for the third straight year as the top basket contributor among our high schools.
Today, our students and community reminded us what it means to be unstoppable and show up for one another.
