HONORING THE PAST
In honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day, Palm City resident and Holocaust survivor Louis Schneider will share his powerful story of perseverance and hope with the Martin County community. Mr. Schneider will speak at Jensen Beach High School at 6:00 p.m. on January 27, 2022. While there is no charge to attend, those interested in attending must RSVP to reserve seats. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

🌱🍊GROWING HEALTHY & STRONG🌱🍊
Students in Ms. Love's class at Warfield Elementary School have been enjoying healthy snacks provided by the District's Office of Food & Nutrition Services! The Fresh Fruits & Vegetables Program, an initiative of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, has allowed the District to engage students in expanding their taste palates by providing them with access to healthy fruits and veggies.
This week, Ms. Love's students practiced their language skills by describing the snack they enjoyed. They described oranges as juicy, sweet, sticky, round, healthy and delicious!

The District hosted its first "Explore My Future" Career & Technical Education (CTE) event for eighth-graders at Hidden Oaks Middle School yesterday!

🔊Spread the word! The Martin County School District will begin accepting applications for its 2022-2023 Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Programs (VPK) on February 7, 2022. Students must be four (4) years of age on or before September 1, 2022, to enroll for next school year.

Jensen Beach Elementary students who read at least 50 books this year had the opportunity to choose a title from the school's book vending machine! We appreciate the Education Foundation of Martin County for installing these literacy-based incentives in our schools.

The Martin County School District's Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program (VPK) will begin accepting applications for the 2022-2023 school year on February 7, 2022. The program is available at select District-operated schools with limited enrollment.
