Friday night lights are BACK tomorrow, and we’re ready for the hype, the touchdowns and the all-out school spirit. 🎉👏📣

Just a friendly reminder:
📣 Middle school students must be accompanied by an adult—no solo entry allowed (and yes, we will be those people making sure a parent/guardian comes to get them).
📣 All students, no matter their grade, must show a valid school ID to get in.
📣 Backpacks and large bags are not allowed.
📣 This goes for all high school sporting events.

Stuart Middle School staff got the first taste of the brand-new cafeteria, breaking in the shiny new space with a back-to-school meeting, lunch (provided by their PTSA), and, of course, a group photo! 📸

ICYMI: During the 24-25 school year, Port Salerno Elementary School became Martin County School District's first AVID Showcase School!

What does that mean? Educators from across Florida and the country were able to see firsthand how AVID strategies are helping Stingrays build confidence, think critically, and begin their journey toward becoming college or career-ready!

The first day of school is almost here, and now’s a great time to remind your student about the District’s cell phone and wireless device policy and avoid an unexpected trip to campus to retrieve a confiscated device. 😅

ℹ️ During school hours, cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, and other wireless tech must be off and out of sight.

Here’s what families should know:
📲 Devices that are seen or used during the day will be confiscated.
📲 Only a parent or guardian can pick them up, and only at a time set by school staff.
📲 Repeated offenses constitute insubordination and may result in suspension.

Need to contact your child? Call the school office—we’ll make sure they get the message promptly.

🎉CELEBRATING SCIENTIFIC ACHIEVEMENT🎉

A huge congratulations to Martin County High School senior Ariana Perez, who recently finished the highly competitive Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience (MPFI) Summer Internship Program!

Ariana was one of just seven students chosen from across the region—and the only student from the Martin County School District—to spend six weeks conducting advanced neuroscience research alongside scientists at MPFI. Her internship concluded with a scientific poster presentation and a final talk on her experience.

We're incredibly proud of Ariana for representing MCSD with excellence! Through this, she hopes other Martin County students know this opportunity is within reach, and encourages her peers to apply in the future. We, too, hope to see more MCSD names on that list! 🔬🌟

🟦 Holiday breaks and days off? Shaded in dark blue.
🟥 Emergency Makeup Days? Outlined in red: November 24–25 (before Thanksgiving) and May 29, 2026.

If we don’t need them, you get bonus vacation days. If we do, they become regular school days.
Either way, we’ll give you as much notice as possible.
