🎨🚒HONORING BRAVERY THROUGH CREATIVITY🚒🎨 Riverbend Academy art students recently poured their hearts into a very special tribute to local firefighters. For the students, it's a gift that symbolizes both gratitude and healing. With the guidance of artist Lynne Barretta from the Visionary School of Arts, seven talented students created “Freedom,” a beautiful painting of baby sea turtles breaking free and beginning anew. The turtles represent hope, resilience, and freedom, in a subtle way reflecting the students' own journeys. Each student included a personal message, sharing part of their story and the strength it took to move forward. The artwork serves as a way to express emotional healing without words. We are incredibly proud of these brave, gifted students for rising above their challenges and creating something beautiful while recognizing the bravery of others in our community. 🌅💛 #ALLINMartin👊 #PublicSchoolPROUD #IgniteTogetherMCSD🔥

🎓#MCSDSENIORSTORIES🎓 This evening, we are shining a spotlight on Jensen Beach High School senior Aryannah V. Sanchez! "To our senior Aryannah Sanchez–as parents we have mixed emotions, this was a moment that seemed so far away when you were growing up, but then when you started high school, I realized it was near," proud parents Talitha and Ernesto shared. "Unfortunately, in 10th grade, when you arrived at Jensen Beach High School, you got sick and began your medical battle, and I thought this moment of seeing you graduate from high school would never come due to the seriousness of your illness. However, you didn’t let that limit you, instead you became our warrior, you taught me in the mist of your illness and pain, you would fight to graduate this year no matter what. Many times, in the hospital and even while recovering from your surgeries, you would ask me for your laptop because you had to do your homework and to study so you wouldn't fall behind. During that time you didn’t get a single B, and that speaks on how much you care about your academics. Now that you are completely heathy, you used your story to not only spread awareness, but to now purse a degree at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Biomedical Science- Neuroscience Pre Med. You've decided that you want to become a pediatric neurosurgeon to help save others kiddos lives like they did yours." "I thank God first and foremost for having you, and Mrs. Gutierrez and Mr.Connolly who always called to check up, give encouragement, ask if we needed anything, and guide Aryannah with any questions she had academically. They both believed in her and supported her goals and dreams, also Profe Barquero who never fails to make you feel seen and supports you and all of her students in anyway she can. We love you and we couldn’t be more proud of your high academics, but most importantly of the person you are. Love mom and dad." 🎉Congratulations, Aryannah 🎉 We are so very proud of you!
