🍎LEAVING A LEGACY🍎
During Tuesday evening’s School Board meeting, Superintendent Michael Maine and Board members proudly honored the career of Ms. Lizabeth Careccia.
Ms. Careccia has served the Martin County School District for 26 years (technically longer when counting her time as a substitute), beginning as a 1st grade teacher in 1999. She spent over a decade in the classroom before transitioning first to SeaWind Elementary - Hobe Sound, FL, and then Martin County High School in 2019 as an Intervention Problem-Solving Coach.
Her dedication to students, families, and colleagues has left a meaningful mark. We thank Ms. Careccia for her years of service and wish her the very best in retirement!

More than a painter, Ken transformed offices and athletic fields across the Martin County School District with his innovation and craftsmanship. One of his standout contributions—a custom-built painting robot—set a new standard for field consistency and school pride on game days.
Thank you, Ken, for the care and creativity you brought to every project. We wish you all the best in retirement!
