🍎PRESENT FOR SUCCESS🍎

Our Attendance Prize Patrol hit the road yesterday, surprising the winners of the recent Present for Success contest! 🚗🎉

Once again, every traditional school in our A-rated District reached 90% or higher attendance—a reflection of the commitment our students, staff, and families bring every day. Special congrats to:
🎉 Martin County High School
🎉 Hidden Oaks Middle School
🎉 Palm City Elementary School

Assistant Superintendent Dr. Lisa Estevez and members of the Student Services team (Director Deb Riley, Coordinator Guillermo Orozco, and specialists Derrell McColister and Jenny Champagne) stopped by each campus to deliver the trophies and celebrate these schools for showing up and leading the way in attendance.

The trophies will remain proudly on display through the end of the school year. Families, let’s keep it going and finish the year strong! 💪

🌊LEADERSHIP THAT MAKES WAVES🌊

ICYMI: Last week, Jensen Beach Elementary School's Eco-Action Team joined author and ocean advocate Janeen Mason at the Environmental Studies Center, helping lead an inspiring evening of learning.

As the Center for Environmental Stewardship, JBE brings literacy and hands-on science to life. Through fun activities and creative demonstrations about ocean currents and gyres, these young environmental leaders showed our community the impact of everyday actions. Their confidence, knowledge, and passion were on full display! 🐤📚🌎

This is students learning, leading, and making a difference...and it happens all across the Martin County School District every day! The key to success starts with MCSD. Enroll today: https://bit.ly/3Z1Ny6E

📚HONORING OUR HISTORY📚 What a day!! The District’s 2nd Annual Black History Month Event brought out talent, pride, and a whole lot of community spirit at Stuart Middle School. Students showed up with their best. Teachers, families, district leaders, and community members packed the room and brought the support that makes days like this possible. A well‑deserved shoutout to Mark Cowles (Coordinator of Executive Initiatives), Dr. Anita Caswell (Murray Middle School Choral Director), and Shameeka Forbes (Assistant Principal at SMS) for shaping this event and making sure every detail reflected the purpose of the day. Thanks also goes out to Georgia Boy & Ethel’s Famous Wings for offering delicious food and the NAACP of Martin County for support! What stood out most wasn’t just the performances and beautiful displays…it was the way everyone came together to honor history, celebrate the present, and keep pushing toward the future our students deserve. We move forward by lifting each other up, and today was a reminder of just how strong we are when we do it together. #ALLINMartin👊 #PublicSchoolProud #unstoppablesince1925

🌱🥗 FROM CLASSROOM TO CAFETERIA! 🥗🌱

At SeaWind Elementary - Hobe Sound, FL, learning was fresh this week — literally. 😄

Thanks to a $1,910 grant, Mrs. Remian’s 3rd-grade gifted students have been using an AeroGarden as a living classroom to explore plant science and the engineering design process. Their hard work paid off when they harvested their student-grown lettuce and teamed up with our Food & Nutrition Services staff to create fresh salad cups for lunch.

Rocking chef hats and learning food safety along the way, these students stepped into the role of junior chefs while seeing science come to life.

Experiences like this highlight how our A-rated District connects classroom learning to real-world skills, helping students grow, create, and thrive every day! Enrollment is open! Learn more today: https://bit.ly/3Z1Ny6E
