Check out the romaine lettuce and radishes Mrs. Monks’ students planted and harvested during 5th-grade recess at Indiantown Middle School! This group of young Thunderbirds is learning all about gardening and teaching their classmates. ❄YEAR IN REVIEW: WINTER BREAK COUNTDOWN❄ This is one we'll remember forever - Jensen Beach Elementary School earned the FHSAA's Class 1A Wrestling title in March! 💪💪 This wrestling season was historic in every sense, as the Falcons were the only team in the state to take home wins in both of the FHSAA's competitive categories - dual and team (Class 1A). Eleven student-athletes were state qualifiers and a program-record 9 wrestlers took home individual medals. Congratulations, Falcons! We could not be more proud of you. 🎉🎉 #ALLINMartin👊 #PublicSchoolProud

❄YEAR IN REVIEW: WINTER BREAK COUNTDOWN❄ It’s safe to say Martin County High School senior Sophie Araque-Liu was not expecting actress, musician, entrepreneur and philanthropist Selena Gomez to join her video chat with representatives of Google in August. Then again, it’s not every day one is crowned a national #DoodleforGoogle champion! Sophie knows this fact very well- she’s faithfully entered the competition every year since middle school, honing her skills while hoping the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity would be hers. This year’s topic, “I care for myself by…” spoke to Sophie in a profoundly personal way. She thought about times she has struggled and attempted to find balance in her life, remembering the many people (her mom in particular) who helped her along the way. Thanks in part to our generous Martin County community members, who went #ALLINMartin👊Sophie earned a $30,000 college scholarship for herself and $50,000 for the establishment or improvement of a tech lab at MCHS!
