Every 3rd grader has received a brand-new dictionary thanks to the generosity of The Rotary Club and its continued commitment to literacy!

A special thank-you Stuart Sunshine Rotary Club members Dr. Jason Davis and Allison White of Palm City Eye Care, for supporting this meaningful initiative.

This wonderful tradition of providing dictionaries has been going strong for over 30 years in Martin County, helping students strengthen vocabulary, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning. 📖💙

We’re wrapping up our How-To Writing unit in kindergarten! 🎁 Literally! Students wrote steps on how to wrap a present then put their learning into action and wrapped a present for their families! Then our students learned how to write step-by-step directions by explaining how to make a gingerbread house—and then brought their writing to life by creating one with their families. 🎄✨ Holiday Centers in Kindergarten! ✨🎄 Our classroom has been full of festive learning this week! 🍬 Candy Land Math – Students practiced number sense while moving their way through a sweet holiday board. 🎳 Subtraction Bowling – Roll, knock down, subtract… and celebrate! 🌲 Tree Jenga – Each block had an addition or subtraction problem to solve before pulling it out. 🍪 Gingerbread Dice Race – Roll, count, and race your gingerbread to the finish line! ❄️ In science, we explored states of matter by building a snowman! We learned that our snowman starts as a solid, and when he melts, he becomes a liquid. Hands-on science at its best!
