The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning families about fake and counterfeit squishy toys that may pose safety risks to children.

As a precaution, the Martin County School District will not provide squishy toys as classroom incentives, PBIS rewards or sensory items.

BCE Families — tomorrow is the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, and we cannot wait to welcome our Gators back! A few important reminders as we head into our first week: 🚗 Please pack your patience and allow extra time for arrival and dismissal. It takes at least the first week to get our carline pace and routines down. We have many brand-new Gators starting their very first day and new BCE families learning our drop-off and pick-up procedures. We appreciate everyone working together and following our SAFE carline procedures as we get back into the routine! Please help us start and end each day the Bessey Creek way and drive SAFE: • S - Screens Down: Put down phones and devices. • A - All windows down: Roll your windows all the way down as you enter carline and keep them down. • F - Follow the directions of staff and Safety Patrols. • E - Eyes up, ease forward: Stay in your vehicle. Note: If you need assistance, pull all the way forward, and a staff member will come to you. ⏰ For the first few days, we plan to begin carline early both in the morning and afternoon to help everyone adjust and support timing. Once our routines are established, morning carline will begin at 7:10 AM and afternoon carline at 2:00 PM. 🚙 DISMISSAL REMINDER: Please have your carline sign displayed on your rearview mirror for the ENTIRE carline process. Keeping it visible helps our team communicate efficiently and get every Gator to the correct vehicle safely. Important: Parking along Matheson to walk up to the gate for arrival or dismissal is NOT an option. This includes road safe golf carts. If you are arriving in a car, then please proceed to the car line. Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and commitment to keeping our Gators safe. We are SO excited to see everyone tomorrow and officially kick off an amazing year at Bessey Creek! 🐊💚💙 Shine Bright Together! ✨
