📝🌷 Spring PM3 Testing is Coming Up! 🌷📝 Our Spring PM3 assessment window is approaching. Students will be taking their end-of-year progress monitoring assessments during the upcoming testing dates. Please help your student prepare by making sure they: ✅ Get a good night’s sleep ✅ Eat a a healthy breakfast ✅ Arrive to school on time and ready to do their best Important Reminder: Once a testing session begins, students may not be checked out or leave the testing room until the assessment is finished, so please plan appointments accordingly. CARDBOARD BOAT RACE – SUPPLIES NEEDED! 🚣‍♀️ Help us build a winning boat and support our principal and student team as they compete against other schools! Our 4th graders made an exciting connection to what they’re learning in Benchmark about the Transcontinental Railroad by taking a field trip to the Henry Flagler Museum! Students toured Flagler’s beautiful mansion and even walked through his personal railroad car. This car was part of the first overseas railroad, which connected the Florida Keys all the way to Key West. It was an incredible hands-on experience that helped students see how innovation and transportation changed American history!🚂🛤️ #BCEGators #LearninginAction #UnstoppableTogether

🎨📚 Literacy Meets Art! 📚🎨 Students in Mr. Henderson’s art class connected reading and creativity after listening to The Rainbow Fish. Inspired by the story, students used multimedia materials to create their own rainbow fish while exploring contrast and color in their artwork. Through small group conversations and turn and talks, students are sharing ideas, supporting their thinking with evidence, and learning from one another. 🎶✨ Celebrating Black History Month ✨🎶 Bessey Creek was proud to participate in the Martin County School District Black History Month Celebration at Stuart Middle School! Schools from across the district came together to showcase the incredible talents of our students. A special thank you to Ms. Arencibia for leading our amazing steel drum band, whose performance filled the room with energy and pride. We were also proud to have Mr. Henderson display our students’ beautiful African tribal masks, highlighting creativity, culture, and history through art.
