🏅🐊 Bessey Creek Gators Shine at Special Olympics! After two months of training with Coach Cratty, our student athletes proudly competed in their culminating Special Olympics Track and Field event, showcasing their skills in events like the softball throw and long jump. Our Gators cheered each other on, encouraged their teammates, and showed incredible athletic spirit from the opening to closing ceremonies! A huge thank you to Coach Cratty, our ESE teachers and staff, and our supportive families who came out to cheer on our athletes. 🎓🐊 5th Grade Visit from Hidden Oaks Middle! 🦈 Our 5th graders enjoyed a special visit from Principal Forte and rising 6th grade counselor Ms. Romano from Hidden Oaks Middle School! Students learned about the Core 4 classes, explored the wide range of electives, clubs, and school-sponsored sports, and had the chance to ask great questions about middle school life. Students celebrated Transportation Day with a special Show & Parade, proudly sharing their creative transportation projects. As part of their learning about force and motion, students explored how pushes and pulls make things move, how wheels help vehicles roll, and how we travel by land, air, and water. Fourth graders are officially Mangrove Experts! 🌿🌊 They recently went on their field trip to the Environmental Studies Center, and the cold weather did not stop them from learning!
