Families are invited to join the Martin County School District at this year’s Transition Fair!

This event is designed for families of students with varying exceptionalities in grades K–12 who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Section 504 Plan. Explore additional resources from community agencies that offer extra support to help students thrive in school and prepare for life, education, and employment beyond graduation.

🍂 Falling Into Learning About Mammals! 🐾 Our first graders had an exciting field trip to the Environmental Studies Center, where they explored the world of 🦦 mammals and 🌊 sea life! Students learned about animal habitats, unique adaptations, and even got to see some of their favorite creatures up close. It was a fun-filled day of hands-on learning, curiosity, and discovery!🦋 #BCEGators #UnstoppableTogether #LearningInAction

🏛️ Bessey Creek’s 5th graders had an unforgettable day at the Martin County Courthouse! 🏛️

Students stepped into the roles of attorneys, witnesses, and jurors during a hands-on mock trial experience. Through this exciting visit, they gained a deeper understanding of how our local government and justice system work — and discovered the power of civic engagement and leadership in action!

This month, our Related Arts classes are bringing the Cambridge Learner Attribute of Responsibility to life in amazing ways:
🎨 Art: Creativity is flowing as students explore new techniques and showcase their imagination.
🇪🇸 Spanish: Students are growing in confidence as they practice speaking and connecting through language.
📚 Media: Research and reflection skills are shining as students dive into new books and technology.
🏃 PE: Responsibility and teamwork are front and center during fun fitness challenges.
🎶 Music: Engagement is high as students learn rhythms, melodies, and the joy of performing together.
