The Martin County School District's Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten programs will begin accepting enrollment applications for the 2025-2026 school year on February 3, 2025, at 8 a.m.!
VPK is an early learning program that provides developmentally appropriate instruction and activities to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond by building a solid foundation for school success. To be eligible, students must be four years of age on or before September 1, 2025, and reside within an eligible school attendance zone.

Martin County School District High School Biology teachers, along with St. Lucie County teachers, recently attended the Cash Cow Workshop and Field Trip to a dairy farm hosted by @floridamilk.
From the lab to the dairy farm, our teachers deepened their knowledge of dairy herd genetics to bring real-world science back to the classroom!

Martin County School District students will NOT be required to make up the days missed due to the recent hurricanes.
Fortunately, after a thorough review of the Districtβs instructional calendar, students will still meet state requirements and complete the academic year without the need to use make-up days at this time.
We are committed to supporting the community with ongoing recovery efforts, including through the Education Foundation of Martin Countyβs relief fund for employees and families, providing free meals for students, and offering credit for last weekβs Extended Day services.
