Next week, October 12-16th is National School Lunch Week. This year’s theme is “Cafeteria Circus”. NSLW is our opportunity to showcase school meals, celebrate our cafeteria teams, and increase student participation through engaging and memorable experiences. We always encourage staff members to make a special guest appearance in circus attire during the lunch periods. All are invited to join the fun festivities during lunch this week.

💰 First, a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in our "Penny" Wars fundraiser! (Let's be honest... these days it takes a lot more than pennies! 😆💵) Thanks to your generosity, we raised just over $350 to help ship HSE's African Library to Uganda! 🌍📦📚
🏆 Congratulations to our 3rd Grade students, who were the clear winners with an incredible $148 donated! 👏🥇🎉
We're getting so close! We only need about $150 more to make this dream a reality. If anyone would like to donate trash compactor garbage bags 🗑️ or packing tape 📦, we would be incredibly grateful. We are beyond excited to finally get this project packed up and on its way! 🚛🌍❤️
🎥🎤 We were also thrilled to welcome Murray Middle School's ENN News Crew to the Media Center! A special shoutout to former HSE student Rocco, who helped get our teleprompter and microphones set up. 📰✨ It was so much fun having him back on campus, even for a short visit! 😊🏫❤️ Thank you, Rocco! 🙌👏
📖📚 Meanwhile, our students have been busy doing what they do best... READING, READING, and more READING! 🤩
A special thank you to the @EdFoundationMC for donating books for our book vending machine and the awesome brag tags! 🎁📚🏅 Students earn books when they reach point club milestones, and brag tags are awarded when they pass a Sunshine State, Sunshine State Jr., or Orange Blossom quiz. 🌞🍊📗
🎉 The students LOVE them so much that we're already realizing... we need more! 😍🙌
