Caring in action at JBE! 💙

Our amazing school counselor, Mrs. Sportsman, has been working with our first graders on what it means to care for others. Through fun lessons and hands-on collaborative activities, students practiced sharing, helping, listening, and encouraging one another.

It was heartwarming to see our young Vikings putting caring into action and learning that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. 💛

Winter came to kindergarten… JBE style! ❄️

Ms. Boudreau’s class explored a series of books about winter and snow, building vocabulary and comprehension along the way. To celebrate their learning, students wrapped up with a fun “snowball toss” — safely tossing soft snowballs at Principal Smith! 🎯😄

A perfect mix of literacy, movement, and joy — learning brought to life! 💙

Our talented JBE students — along with dedicated volunteers — put their creativity to work in art class to create stunning sculptures of three iconic Everglades animals: a Roseate Spoonbill, American Alligator, and Florida Panther cub! 💙💛

These incredible pieces will be on display at the Martin County Fair from February 13–22 as part of a “School and Art Program Collaborative Project.”

We are so proud of the hard work, imagination, and teamwork that went into this special project. If you’re visiting the fair, be sure to stop by and take a look!

Thank you to everyone who shared their time and talent to make this possible. 🐊🦩🐆

2nd grade turned into a full-blown wax museum 🤩

We traveled through history with an amazing lineup of “historical figures” — from Cleopatra to Lady Gaga, and everyone in between! The creativity, confidence, and hard work from all of our second graders was incredible. They researched, memorized, and presented like pros, and we couldn’t be more proud. 🏛️✨

What a fun and unforgettable way to bring history to life! 💛📚

It’s National School Counseling Week, and we are so grateful for our incredible school counselor, Mrs. Sportsman! 💙💛

Mrs. Sportsman works tirelessly to support our students in so many ways and she does it all with patience, compassion, and a genuine love for kids.

She is a steady presence on our campus and a trusted adult for so many of our students. We are so thankful for the care, guidance, and encouragement she brings to JBE each and every day.

Students, if Mrs. Sportsman has made a difference in your life, consider bringing her a card or a note this week to let her know how much she is appreciated. A few kind words go a long way!

Thank you, Mrs. Sportsman, for all you do for our Vikings! 💙
