4th grade had a blast at their February Spirit Celebration today. Students were recognized for earning Perfect Attendance this month with a certificate and popsicle. Two students from each class were rewarded with Kindness Awards. These students were voted on by their peers as going above and beyond showing kindness. Miss Rhodesโ class took home the Spirit Sticks. We canโt wait to celebrate our fourth graders again next month! ๐

Mrs. Higgins' third graders learned about light energy. They worked at stations involving reflection, refraction, and shadows.๐ก Science is Important!

๐CHOOSING THE BEST๐
During an Emergency Meeting held this evening, the Martin County School Board voted to add Martin County High School and Jensen Beach High School to the list of approved Controlled Open Enrollment schools for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
This means in AND out-of-county residents can apply to ANY MCSD-operated school during the application period that will open tomorrow, March 1 โ March 31.
For high school students, applications for signature programs are no longer required as part of the Choice process, but must be completed if your child would like to be considered for entrance into a signature program.
โน๏ธStudents accepted into a Controlled Open Enrollment choice option must have their own mode of transportation to and from school. Students are not required to renew their applications annually and will be permitted to attend their chosen school through the highest grade level offered on the campus.
