The Galactic Gala Prom will be held April 30, 2022, from 7-11 PM (No entry after 9 PM) at Hutchinson Shores Resort.
Tickets will be sold beginning April 18 during lunch.
To buy tickets you will need to complete all forms and pay all debts.
Seniors are $55, Juniors and Guests are $75.
If you have questions, please talk to Mr. McIntyre or Mrs. Pigott.
Any underclassmen interested in running for a class officer position for the 2022-2023 school year, please locate the intent to run google form and submit a campaign video in your “class” google classroom by March 25th, at 3:05pm. Voting for class officers will take place on Friday, April 1st. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Lavelle in room 221.

Congratulations to our Jubilate choir singers who were rated Superior by the judges at their performance assessment yesterday! All four performing choirs received the highest possible ratings from all of the judges. Great Job!
SPORTS NEWS
The baseball team beat Sebastian last night in a close game. The Falcons edged out the competition in a 9-8 victory.
The JV Flag Football team beat Vero Beach 2-0 last night. Kaitlyn Hamilton had a safety. Varsity won 26-20. Courtney Cromer threw two touchdown passes both to Lauren Duke and she ran one in as well. Lauren Duke also had two interceptions, one was a pick 6. Bella Faherty led the defense with 6 flag pulls and 3 sacks. The team travels to South Fork on Thursday. JV plays at 5:00 and varsity plays at 6:00.
Boys Lax beat Jupiter Christian last night 18-4 yesterday to improve their overall record to 7&1, and 2&0 in their District.

Senior Jason Loudice scored 2 goals and had 5 assists.
Sophomore Connor Ferreira had 4 assists.
Junior Layton Mannon had 3 goals and 1 assist.

Speaking of the Lacrosse game. Please help the JBHS Boys’ Lacrosse team spread the word about this Thursday’s 6pm Home Game vs MCHS. This is our Military Appreciation Night.

We have three Jensen Beach Students up for TC Palm’s athlete of the week.
First is Sebastian Degennaro. On Mar. 5, Degennaro finished off a 55-1 season in his freshman year with a state title at 106 pounds at the FHSAA Wrestling Championship, scoring a 15-0 technical fall in the second period over First Baptist's Jonathan Moder to help the Falcons win the 1A team state championship.
Next is Jewell Williams. On Mar. 5, Williams earned the state title at 138 pounds in 1A at the FHSAA Wrestling Championships, defeating American Heritage's Andrew DeSola with a 6-2 decision to help the Falcons secure the 1A team state championship.
Last but not least, is Kyle Derrenbacker. On Mar. 1, Derrenbacker threw six shutout innings, striking out five to lead the Falcons past Okeechobee 4-0 and on Mar. 4, Derrenbacker went 2-for-3 at the plate with a run scored in a 10-0 win over Delray Beach American Heritage.

The boys' and girls' lacrosse teams are traveling today to play games. The boys are heading to Jupiter Christian High School and the girls are traveling to Dwyer. Good luck Falcons!
The Flag Football team will be taking on Vero Beach today in their season opener. JV plays at 5 & Varsity at 6. Come out and cheer on the team!
The tennis team will be hosting Fort Pierce Westwood today; those matches will begin at 3:30!
At six o’clock the baseball team will be taking on the Sebastian River Sharks.
So, there will be plenty of action here for you guys to come and see here at Jensen Beach. Hope to see all of you at the games!

SPORTS NEWS
The wrestling team came up big this past weekend. The boys won the State Championship for the team and had nine wrestlers medal at the tournament. This on top of the State Dual Championship the team earned earlier this year, this is the only school in the state to accomplish this for this year. This has never been done here at JBHS before.
Freshman Sebastian Degennaro and Junior Jewell Williams both came home with a state championship. We are so very proud of you guys, great job gentlemen.
Our JV Baseball team will head to Treasure Coast High School today for a game at 3:30. Go Falcons!
The Basketball banquet will be held this evening at 6:00 PM.

The Varsity Girls Flag Football team beat Palm Beach Gardens 12-7 in Palm beach Gardens last night in their preseason classic. Courtney Cromer threw 2 touchdown passes, one to Bella Faherty and the other to Lauren Duke. The Falcons open the regular season at home on March 8th against Vero Beach. JV plays at 5 pm and Varsity at 6 pm. GO FALCONS!
Boys' Varsity Lacrosse beat Dwyer 12-6 last night improving to 5 & 1. Leading scorers were seniors Jason Loudice with 4 goals and Chase Walker who pumped in 3 goals.
Varsity boys’ lacrosse will host Melbourne Central Catholic this Saturday @ 11am.
The girls' lacrosse team is hosting Jupiter tonight. The JV Game starts at 5:30 and varsity starts at 7. Swing by to cheer them on.

JBHS and MCHS art students are working together to create this amazing mural. It is titled Salute to Service . The mural is on the side of the Palm City Post Office. Ms Jones and Mr Gorostiaga's classes created the mural and painted it.
