Students: Please remember that you may visit the Guidance Office/Counselors before school, during lunches & after school. No students should be down during class time unless they have an approved pass. If your pass was not approved, you will be sent back to class.
The post-interpretation for the ASVAB Career Exploratory Program (CEP) will be in the Innovation Center on Thursday, February 27. Students will receive their scores and should report straight to the Innovation Center at the beginning of first period.
JBHS PTSA is hosting an SAT Practice Test fundraiser in partnership with Class 101 on Saturday, February 22nd at 8:30 am at JBHS. Students will take a proctored digital SAT practice test in person at JBHS which will help them prepare for the actual SAT. Students and parents will get a baseline score and have an opportunity to review their results during a free consultation with Class 101.
This is a great way for students get a feel for the SAT and start to prepare to meet Bright Futures scholarship requirements! Test is open to all high school students from any local school. Attention seniors! The last day to purchase a ticket to Grad Bash is this Friday, Feb 14th. Tickets are $180. You must have no fees and have a completed permission packet turned in with the full amount. Packets and money may be given to Coach Gilbert in room 119, or Ms. Chatham in room 232. Seats are limited. When the last bus is filled, we will not take any more signups!
Anyone interested in finding out about the newest club on campus, come to room 119 on Friday morning at 8:00 to learn about Best Buddies, a club geared towards building friendships between students with and without disabilities! Help make Jensen Beach a more inclusive and accepting school community one buddy at a time!

Congratulations to the Lady Falcon Basketball team on their DISTRICT WIN! On Saturday, they defeated Sebastian River HS 48-34 to bring home the title. Leading scorers for the Falcons were Jayla Brinkley with 14 pts and 7 rebs, Lizzie Fitzwater with 8 pts and 3 assists, and Dani Bell with 8 pts. Their next game is at HOME on Thursday at 7 PM. It’s a regional game vs. MacArthur. Please come out to support our girls as they advance! Way to go, Falcons!
Good luck to our tennis teams who play TCHS today at home. Come at 3:30 to cheer them on!

Our STEM Fair Showcase was a night of science, innovation, and discovery!
Hands-on learning, creativity, and exploration were on display as families explored student projects, and enjoyed music with delicious food truck fare and STEM activities from our amazing community partners.
Earlier in the day, judges evaluated elementary projects, and today, it's time for our middle and high school students to take the stage! They'll present their work to judges, showcasing their knowledge and passion for STEM. Winners will be celebrated on February 19!

Congratulations to the boys’ and girls’ tennis teams who beat Okeechobee in the season opener yesterday at JBHS. Players who won their matches were:

When: Thursday, Feb 13th.
Where: JBHS courtyard.
Time: doors open at 5:30, movie starts at 6pm, no admittance after 6:30. Event will end by 8pm.
Please do not bring backpacks, bags of any kind into the movie, blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. You must have your JBHS student ID to enter.
The Googan truck will be on campus providing FREE beverages.
Snacks will be for sale, cash only.

The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology in Jupiter, FL, offers a 9-week hands-on, paid summer internship for select Palm Beach and Martin counties students working with world-class scientists on our campus. The program runs from June 2 to August 1 and is available to rising junior and senior high school students.

Boys’ Soccer: Jean Fernandez - The junior knocked in two goals, including the go-ahead score in double overtime to carry the Falcons past top-seeded South Fork during the District 13-5A Final.
Boys Wrestling: Sebastian Degennaro - The senior rolled to victory in the 126-pound weight class at the Colby Singletary Memorial tournament. Degennaro earned two wins by fall and three wins via tech, including a 15-0 tech fall triumph over Somerset’s Carlos Sainz in the first-place match.

Our JBHS boys’ wrestling team finished in 6th place out of 40 teams this past weekend at the Colby Memorial tournament held at Palmetto Ridge High School in Naples! Sebastian Degennaro was the Champion at 126. He also was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament. Blake Elder was 2nd, Blake Walker finished in 4th, and Tae Smith was 5th. Great job guys!
Congratulations to the Lady Falcons Weightlifting Team who competed against 33 schools at Regionals this past Saturday. Olivia Gilliard 3rd Traditional; Molly Santiago 4th Olympic; Kendra Thorne 5th Traditional; Kai Valko 5th Traditional & 7th Olympic; Brookelyn McNulty 6th Olympic & Traditional; and Ginger Weiner 8th Traditional. The team will compete at States on Valentine's Day.
