Behind every great school year is a great teacher.
In our A-rated District, it’s not just the students who are learning and growing—our teachers lead the way.
Welcome back to the educators who make this District unstoppable. We're excited to kick off another incredible year with you!

📣 Please help us give a warm welcome to returning Falcon, Mr. Joseph Tyler Flanagan—not as a student this time, but as a teacher and coach!🎉
A proud JBHS alum and experienced educator with 8 years in the Martin Cbodyounty School District, Mr. Flanagan will be teaching Anatomy & Physiology and also coaching the Boys Cross Country team. 🔬🧠🥈
With a passion for science and student success—both in the classroom and on the course— Mr. Flanagan brings a unique perspective and deep-rooted commitment to our school community.
Welcome to The Beach, Tyler! Once a Falcon, always a Falcon!🦅

Many of you may already know Candi as a familiar face in our community — a dedicated parent whose children graduated from the Martin County School District, and the talented owner and baker behind Keene Cakes & Confections, delighting teachers and families with homemade treats for the past 14 years. 🧁❤️
With strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of our school community, Candi brings both precision and perspective to her new role. We’re thrilled to have her on board!
Welcome to The Beach, Candi!🌊🦅

📢PLEASE NOTE CHANGE TO JBHS OFFICE HOURS FOR THIS FRIDAY, AUGUST 1 📢

Our 2025–2026 Instructional Calendar is available—complete with holiday breaks, early release days, and those important Emergency Makeup Days.
🟦 Holiday breaks and days off? Shaded in dark blue.
🟥 Emergency Makeup Days? Outlined in red: November 24–25 (before Thanksgiving) and May 29, 2026.
If we don’t need them, you get bonus vacation days. If we do, they become regular school days.
Either way, we’ll give you as much notice as possible.
So, before you book that mid-semester getaway, check the calendar. We love a good beach day too—but we love student success even more. 😉🤩 Attendance matters in our A-Rated District.

📆 T-2 WEEKS UNTIL SCHOOL! 📆
August 11 is coming in hot, and guess what? Only 30% of our families have filled out the back-to-school forms in the FOCUS Parent Portal.
That means 70% are about to log in on August 7 like:“Where’s my kid’s schedule?” “Why can’t I see anything?” “Wait… we had to do forms?” 🤷♂️
Yes. Yes, you do. Here’s how it works: ✅ Do the forms ➡️ Unlock the schedule ✨ Avoid the chaos Help us help you. Do the forms. Be the hero. 💪
