Tonight is Curriculum Night! Come to the gym at 5:00 to get to know the clubs and athletics on campus. Then, come to the auditorium for a brief presentation, and finally take your parent/guardian through your schedule from 6:00-8:00 PM. Seniors, bring your parent/guardian to Senior Info Night in the cafeteria from 5:00-5:40 PM with the guidance counselors.
ASLHS members planning to participate in curriculum night need to arrive by 4:50 in your ASLHS black t-shirt with black pants or a solid black tee shirt with black pants. If you are in another school-approved uniform, you can stay in that uniform and perform with us.
Art Club/National Art Honor Society will be meeting today, Wednesday from 3:15 to 4:15 in room 107.
We’ll be doing an overview of what the Club is about and welcome anyone interested in Art to join us. See you then.

If you enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors, the TROPICAL TREKKERS/FLORIDA TRAIL ASSOCIATION welcomes you to join the monthly chapter meetings held the second Monday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Palm City Community Center. They are looking for high school students to help them maintain the Florida hiking trails throughout the state. They have leadership positions available in the local chapter and organize membership hikes and work parties to repair trails. Flag football conditioning starts Monday, September 9th after school at the stadium. Girls will be conditioning on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-4:45. Any girl interested in participating needs a completed athletic physical and needs to bring a water bottle, tennis shoes, and cleats. Any questions see Coach Gilbert in room 119.
The girls’ and boys’ swim and dive team took home three Wins against South Fork, Okeechobee, and Fort Pierce Central yesterday!
First-place finishers: Justin Scuderi, Abi Sanford, Ethan Cason, Izzie Fenniman, Boone Stoneburg, Cali Ryan, and Jaxon Brown.
There will be a girls’ soccer meeting on Tuesday, September 3rd at 8:00 AM in Coach Rosseau's room, 118, for ALL girls who are interested in playing this upcoming season. If you cannot make the meeting, please stop by Coach Rosseau's room sometime before Friday, September 6th.

Congratulations to the football team on their big win over SFHS Friday night!
Congratulations to the boys’ and girls’ bowling teams on their performance at the Kegal Tournament on Saturday. Our boys brought home 6th place and our girls took 5th place with Freshman Sophie Saunders placing 3rd individually overall. They play MCHS tomorrow at Stuart Bowl at 3:30.
Congratulations to Senior J’Hani Styles who placed 1st overall at the Cecil Field Summer Classic Cross-Country meet!

The JBHS Bowling Team competed Saturday in the Kegel High School Bowling Challenge. The girls team finished in 5th place overall while the boys finished in 6th overall. Freshman Sophie Saunders’s 2-game series of 439 earned her 3rd overall in the girls division. Go Falcons!🎳






Women's volleyball played in a packed gym Tuesday night at Sebastian River for our season opener. Varsity won in a sweep! Game scores were: 28-26, 25-10, 25-20. First Home Game is Sept 4 vs Benjamin. Go Falcons!🏐

Our first general meeting of the year for current members will be on Wednesday, September 4th after school in the cafeteria.
The Falcon Class Cup is back and better than ever!
Each class will compete to earn points to win the overall Class Cup!
For new Falcons, here is the rundown: We will be awarding points for activities such as spirit week participation, pep rallies, event attendance, as well as best attendance, least number of tardies, and least number of discipline referrals.
But the easiest way for you to participate will be to wear your class color every Friday. Freshmen wear WHITE; Sophomores wear GREY; Juniors wear TEAL; and Seniors wear BLACK.

Sports News
Our defending district champion boys’ and girls’ bowling teams defeated Fort Pierce Central Cobras 2-0 yesterday in their season opener at Jensen Beach Bowl.
The Lady Falcons were led by Senior Hannah Whetzel who rolled games of 244 and 235 and Freshman Sophie Saunders' games of 189 and 237. The boys' team was led by Junior Aiden Wintercorn, who recorded a high 2-game series of 444 including a high game of 278. Senior Ivan Stubsten's 372 series helped cement the win for the Falcons.
Both teams travel to the Kegel Center in Lake Wales for the Kegel High School Challenge Tournament tomorrow.
Good luck to our Cross-Country team who has an away meet today. Let’s go, Falcons!

🤖CELEBRATING S.T.E.M. SUCCESS🤖
During the off-season, FRC 180 S.P.A.M. Robotics competed in Indiana against the best teams in the world and won!
They earned bragging rights and received a very pretty plaque, which they proudly showed to the School Board during Tuesday night's meeting. They also talked about the incredible camps and demonstrations they hosted over the summer.
Interest in being part of this winning team? Stop by S.P.A.M.'s Open House on Sept. 9 from 6-8 p.m.!

Today all Juniors will be brought to the auditorium for class photos with their English classes after all testing is completed. FLVS and IRSC students will take photos today during 3rd period which is from 12:00 to 1:00 on the testing calendar and 5th period from 1:45 to 2:10. Photo makeups will be on 9/18 in the auditorium.

The Boys’ and Girls’ Club of Martin County has provided the students at Jensen Beach High School with an amazing opportunity! Thanks to a grant, they will hold services at JBHS daily after school. These services include many activities, tutoring, snacks and dinner, and more! Any JBHS students who are interested may report to the cafeteria after school. Bus transportation will be provided afterward.
