Make-up Writing Test (from Tuesday’s 9th/10th grade testing). Sign-ups for Tuesday’s Blood Drive begin. Talent Show at 7:00 PM in the Auditorium. Happening tomorrow: Key Club: March of Dimes Walk. Clif Rinaldi of the Tulsa Welding School (Jacksonville campus) will be giving presentations during 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th periods in the Innovation Center, April 24th. This is not "just" a CTE department event; students in grades 10-11 can attend! This is not all about Welding! Find out about all of the training programs that they offer at the Jacksonville campus. Congratulations to the JBHS tennis teams who beat Okeechobee yesterday in their last match of the season. They will play in the district tournament on Monday at Martin County High School. Valerie Gomez finished the season with an undefeated 13-0 record on court 1 singles. She and Ayleen Monserrate also finished the season undefeated on court 1 doubles with a 10-0 record. Playing in the district tournament for the girls’ tennis team will be Valerie Gomez, Ayleen Monserrate, Lucy Mayer, Reese Richardson, and Kristin Lange. Way to go, ladies! Good luck as you advance!

"Michael currently works as a Service Technician at Starling Buick GMC Stuart," proud mom Lucille shared. "After graduation he plans to continue employment with Starling, and plans to continue the training to become a World Class GM Mechanic. We are super proud of him, and thankful that God gave him such talent! We cannot wait to see what his future entails!" IRSC will host Parent University on Dual Enrollment TODAY, Thursday, April 10th, in School Board Meeting Room #2 at 6 pm. This will be similar in nature to the DE orientation sessions previously held in person at the Chastain campus each semester. However, the presentation will be from the school district’s perspective and will include topics such as the DE Library as well as the failure and withdrawal policies. Parents and students are welcome to stay for IRSC application assistance from 7-8 pm. Dr. Cuba, from IRSC, will also be in attendance. Mrs. Allen's AP Biology students had their own version of March Madness with March MAMMAL madness! Over a month's time, students enjoyed competitions about fictional, yet scientific, battles between different organisms. It was a fun way to review both the evolution and ecology units. Congrats to the students who researched combatants and had the most accurate predictions. Over two dozen faculty, and staff also participated.
