🔔NEW START TIMES FOR THE 24-25 SCHOOL YEAR🔔
The Martin County School Board approved new school start times for the 2024-2025 School Year during its regular Board Meeting tonight.
Florida HB 733, passed in 2023, requires school districts to comply with new middle and high school start times beginning with the 2026-2027 school year.
To comply with the legislation, Martin County School District school start and end times have been adjusted for the 2024-2025 school year.
Because we are implementing the new times before the mandated year (2026-2027), the District will receive funds from the Florida Department of Education, which a portion of will be used to purchase a school bus tracking system for families. This system will allow verified parents and guardians to see when the bus will arrive at its stop in the mornings and afternoons, and if there are any delays along the route.
Read more about the new times, legislation and bus tracking system here: https://www.martinschools.org/article/1413309

MCSD dress code policy applies. Those participating in the Bookmark Design Contest: all entries are due by 3:15 PM Monday, January 22nd in the Media Center.

Seniors: There are less than three weeks to select a senior ad to celebrate this momentous year. Please have your parents go online by January 31st to Walsworth's website https://yearbookforever.com to do so. This is also where you can buy a yearbook and a commercial advertisement. Please don’t delay! Last year we sold out of yearbooks and many seniors didn't get one.
