1. Log In
Open the Destiny Follett app in ClassLink to access your school account.
2. Select "My Stuff"
Click 'My Stuff' from the left navigation panel.
3. Check Your "Patron Status"
Patron Status will show all library books, textbooks, and technology items currently checked out to you.
4. Review Item Status
Overdue items will appear in red and be marked "Overdue."
What If I Have Overdue or Lost Items?
✅ Return overdue materials to the Library Media Center as soon as possible.
✅ If an item has been lost, bring cash or a check payable to MCHS to the Library Media Center for processing.
✅ Some overdue items may belong to a previous school you attended. Visit the Library Media Center, and we'll help you explore your options for returning materials or resolving fines from another school within the district.

Our MCHS Tigers had a memorable opportunity to celebrate Constitution Week through a special series of assemblies that brought history, citizenship, and patriotism to life.
Students were captivated as the MCHS Drama Department performed selections from Hamilton, showcasing the events, ideas, and individuals who helped shape our nation and its democratic principles. Their talented performances made history engaging, meaningful, and relevant for today's learners.
The program also featured students who demonstrated the proper ceremonial folding of an American flag, teaching their peers about the traditions, symbolism, and respect associated with this important patriotic practice.
A special thank you to Coach Thompson for organizing these meaningful Constitution Week events and helping create authentic learning experiences for our students. We also extend our appreciation to Ms. McNiel and our talented Drama students for their incredible performances and dedication.
Experiences like these help our Tigers better understand the rights, responsibilities, and freedoms that make our nation strong.

I am writing to inform you of another threat reported today involving Martin County High School. The threat was quickly determined to be not credible, and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office has identified an individual believed to be responsible. Based on the current status of the investigation, an arrest appears imminent. Any student found to have been involved will face severe disciplinary action in addition to legal consequences.
Immediately after the report was received through FortifyFL, the Sheriff’s Office began investigating the information and quickly identified its apparent source.
We understand the frustration families may experience when communication is not immediate. During an active law enforcement response, however, the District must comply with law enforcement directives while working to verify the facts. Our priority is to provide families with information that is accurate and responsible—not to issue incomplete or unconfirmed messages that may create additional confusion or interfere with an investigation.
Although today’s situation unfolded quickly and was resolved within a relatively short period of time, every report is treated seriously from the moment it is received. Until law enforcement determines otherwise, we must assume a threat could be credible and respond accordingly. Students and employees remained safe throughout today’s investigation.
I also want to reiterate the importance of using FortifyFL appropriately. Reporting tools such as FortifyFL play a critical role in helping law enforcement and school officials identify and address legitimate safety concerns. We encourage students, families and community members to continue reporting information when they have a genuine reason to believe a threat, dangerous situation or criminal activity may exist.
FortifyFL must never be used to submit information known to be false.
The District has zero tolerance for anyone who knowingly misuses the platform, makes a false threat or assists another person in doing so. Those responsible should expect severe school disciplinary action and legal consequences.
We appreciate your partnership in reinforcing with students that false threats are neither harmless nor funny. They disrupt learning, cause unnecessary fear and place an unacceptable burden on students, employees, families, law enforcement and the broader community. They must stop.

Students in the Culinary Arts CTE program put their skills to work in the Tiger’s Den, preparing a special Constitution Week luncheon featuring mini chicken pot pie shooters, pulled pork sliders, tricolored pasta salad and red, white and blue refreshments.
And the learning didn’t stop in the kitchen. Constitution-themed student work filled the Tiger’s Den, bringing together career-ready skills and creativity.
A little history, a lot of hands-on learning—and a real opportunity for our students to put their CTE skills to work.

🇺🇸🍽️ A Unique Taste of Freedom During Constitution Week 🍽️🇺🇸
As part of Constitution Week and the America 250 celebration, MCHS Culinary Arts students recently found a creative way to bring history, patriotism, and culinary talent together through "A Taste of Freedom."
The Culinary Arts Program invited teachers and staff to the Tiger's Den for a special tasting experience featuring an assortment of student-created hors d'oeuvres. Our culinary students truly hit it out of the park with their creativity, presentation, and flavors. While the event featured samples rather than full servings, each bite showcased the skill and dedication these students have developed in the program.
Adding to the experience, guests enjoyed student artwork and poetry displayed throughout the Tiger's Den, creating a meaningful celebration of both the Constitution and America's upcoming 250th anniversary.

I recognize that you have heard from me repeatedly this week regarding safety-related disruptions on our campus. Moments ago, Martin County High School received another threat through the state's FortifyFL reporting system—the third bomb threat involving our campus this week.
Today's report referenced two specific buildings, requiring both buildings to be evacuated while law enforcement conducted a thorough search. Students and staff were relocated to other areas of campus during the response.
Every threat must be taken seriously. Each report generates a significant law enforcement response, disrupts instruction, displaces students and staff, and creates understandable concern throughout our school community. Unlike many situations that may require an emergency response, the behavior prompting these repeated disruptions is entirely avoidable. It cannot continue.
We need our families as partners in addressing this behavior. Please speak directly with your children about the seriousness and far-reaching impact of making or participating in a false threat. What a student may view as a joke or a temporary way to avoid class can have widespread consequences for an entire campus and community.
FortifyFL is an important safety resource. Students and families who become aware of a credible threat—or who have a legitimate reason to believe questionable, dangerous or criminal activity may be occurring—should continue to report that information through FortifyFL. Information about submitting a report is available on our school's and the School District's websites.
However, FortifyFL must never be used to submit information that someone knows to be false. The District has zero tolerance for anyone who knowingly misuses the platform or participates in making a false threat. Any individual found responsible will face severe school disciplinary consequences and potential criminal charges.
We appreciate your partnership in reinforcing that false threats are neither harmless nor funny. They place an unacceptable burden on students, employees, families, law enforcement and the broader community—and they must stop.

On our Early Release Day, after students were dismissed at 1:15 PM, our dedicated teachers spent the afternoon engaged in professional learning designed to support student success. Staff participated in sessions focused on:
