During last weekโs board meeting, the Martin County School Board and Superintendent Michael Maine proudly recognized FRC 180 S.P.A.M. Robotics for an unforgettable season of innovation, teamwork, and achievement. ๐
The team earned Regional Championship titles in Orlando and South Florida, received multiple honors, including the Excellence in Engineering and Autonomous Awards, and finished as division finalists at the World Championship in Houston.
Even more impressive, the S.P.A.M. Robotics Class of 2026 became the winningest class in program history with 13 competition wins over four years!!
Students gifted School Board members and Superintendent Maine their very own SPAM cans while sharing how the Districtโs investment in the teamโs state-of-the-art robotics facility has helped elevate their success on the world stage.

"Kathryn Rogers is a bright light wherever she goes," proud family friend Deb shared. "While balancing work, academics, and countless commitments, she also founded her own nonprofit dedicated to helping animals and making a difference in her community. Her compassion, leadership, and determination are truly inspiring. As a Bank of America Student Leaders scholar, Kathryn has continued to show what it means to lead with purpose and heart."
"We are beyond proud of all she has accomplished and excited for everything still ahead. She will be attending the University of South Florida as a student in the Judy Genshaft Honors College, where she will pursue animal biology on a pre-veterinary track.
