Martin County High School will administer the PSAT on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Please note that no make-up date is available.
🔹 10th Grade: All students are automatically registered. No form or payment is required. The cost is covered by the State of Florida.
🔹 9th Grade: Registration is required. The cost is $18, payable by cash or check made out to MCHS. Students are not registered until payment is received.
🔹 11th Grade: Registration is required, but there is no cost. The fee is covered by Martin County School District (MCSD).
🔹 12th Grade: College Board does not permit seniors to take the PSAT.

Students in Mrs. Kalwa's AP Art History class kicked off the year by exploring some of the incredible works of art they will study throughout the course. From ancient masterpieces to iconic works that have shaped cultures around the world, students got a preview of the artistic journey ahead.
But the learning didn't stop there! Through thoughtful discussions and collaboration with their peers, students challenged themselves to answer a big question: "What is art?" Together, they developed their own definitions, sharing unique perspectives and discovering that art can inspire, communicate, preserve history, and spark emotion.

Students in Ms. Brandenburg's Cambridge English General Paper (EGP) class recently took their first deep dive into the course! After learning about what EGP is, what to expect, and how it challenges students to think critically about the world around them, students explored the course introduction in their textbook.
Their mission? To create a One-Page Note that summarized the most important concepts and skills they believe every future EGP student should know. 📝💡
By focusing on key ideas such as critical thinking, effective communication, analyzing global issues, evaluating evidence, and developing informed perspectives, students transformed their learning into creative visual summaries. Each note was designed as if they were introducing the course to someone considering taking Cambridge English General Paper.
This activity encouraged students to take ownership of their learning while reflecting on an essential question: "What is most important for success in this course?"
We are excited to see our students begin this journey of inquiry, discussion, and deeper understanding of the world around them. 🌎🐯
