With decades of experience in education, Mr. Hatfield brings an incredible depth of knowledge and passion for student success. He has taught a wide range of courses including Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, and Honors Pre-Calculus, helping students at all levels build confidence and mastery in math.
Beyond the classroom, Mr. Hatfield has served as a department leader and instructional leader, consistently guiding teams to high levels of achievement—with student pass rates reaching 85–100% on state assessments.
His dedication extends far beyond academics. With over two decades of coaching experience in football and in baseball, he has impacted countless students through leadership, teamwork, and mentorship.

With real classroom experience already under his belt, Mr. Johnson has been teaching math in public schools, using data-driven strategies, performance tracking, and innovative lesson design to help students succeed.
Certified in Math 6–12, he is committed to building strong mathematical foundations while helping students think critically, analyze deeply, and grow with confidence.

Missed the recent free ECG screening hosted at South Fork High School? No worries!

Remember, beginning July 1, 2026, Florida law will require ECG screenings for incoming ninth-grade student athletes and any new student athletes. If you were unable to attend the event, please know that more screening opportunities will be scheduled throughout the school year.

Need an ECG sooner? An option is available through the St. Lucie Health Department (see flyer for details).

Recently, MCHS rising junior Jasmine Doris-Capra was honored at the National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Ceremony in New York City after earning a National Gold Medal and the prestigious American Vision Award—one of the program's highest honors.

Selected from more than 335,000 submissions nationwide, Jasmine's work was recognized among the most outstanding student artwork in the country.

There is no limit to where a Martin County School District student can go! We are incredibly proud of Jasmine, grateful for the educators who helped nurture her gifts, and honored to celebrate this remarkable achievement.
