🌀🚧REBUILDING STRONGER🚧🌀

We’re proud to share that the Martin County School District has been awarded $500,000 in state funding to support the restoration of Murray Middle School, which was severely damaged during Hurricane Milton.

The school’s band and chorus rooms were among the hardest hit. This funding will support the rebuild of modern, safe, and well-equipped spaces where our students can grow academically and artistically—on a campus they’re proud of.

Our sincerest thanks go to Governor Ron DeSantis, the Florida Legislature, Rep. Toby Overdorf, and Sen. Gayle Harrell for making this possible.

🍎LEAVING A LEGACY🍎 After 38 years of dedicated service to the Martin County School District, 33 of them at Murray Middle School, Superintendent Michael Maine and the School Board were proud to honor Mr. William Carroll as he retires. An icon on campus and a familiar face for generations of Lions, Mr. Carroll has been a mentor and role model to students and staff alike. His impact runs so deep that he’s had the unique honor of working alongside former students who returned to teach and lead at Murray Middle. 🎉CELEBRATING ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE🎉 We're proud to shine a spotlight on Landon Kodare, who just wrapped up his 8th grade year at Murray Middle School, for representing the Martin County School District at the AGLOA Academic Games Nationals in May! Competing against some of the top students in the country, Landon earned multiple top-three finishes in individual rounds, including a memorable tie with last year’s Equations champion, whom he went on to knock out of the playoffs! 🏆 Landon is already planning to form a high school team this fall and continue his Academic Games journey. 🧃☀️FREE SUMMER MEALS FOR STUDENTS🧃☀️ School may be out, but nutritious meals are still in! The Martin County School District will be serving free breakfast and lunch for all children 18 and under at select school sites starting Monday, June 2, 2025, with no income restrictions. Meal service dates and times will vary by location. Children must remain on location while they are eating their meals. Our Summer Feeding Bus is back as well!
