Interested in learning about life in The Den? Over the last year and a half, we've been working hard remodeling our school both literally and figuratively. We are excited to showcase academics, clubs, activities, and school community opportunities to you and your family! This event is open to students and families and is designed for students interested in attending Murray Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year.
In addition to our Open House event on Thursday, April 16th, Principal Roth is also hosting a smaller Q&A session along with a school tour on Tuesday, March 24th at 5pm. Interested students and families should plan to arrive at the MMS Front Office. This is a great opportunity to ask more specific questions.
Not zoned for Murray? No worries! We are still accepting school choice applications and we would love the opportunity to share with you what makes us "the best kept secret in Martin County!"

Yesterday, 8th grade AVID students individually identified areas in which they have an academic opportunity for growth. After this targeted reflection process, Ms. Beans then groups students together according to content area. Then each group uses collaborative and clarifying accountable talk sentence stems to correct misconceptions and deepen understanding!

Please take a moment to review the sheet with your student and rank their elective choices together. We are excited to have some new offerings for the upcoming year! Not sure what some of the new electives are? The Murray Middle School website has been updated with the course descriptions for next year.
Be make sure to confirm your child’s name and 4300 number on the sheet. Once electives are selected, please sign the bottom of the form and remind your child to bring it back to school next week by Tuesday. 📚

Congratulations are in order for our choral program and Dr. Caswell. Today, our students participated in MPA's (Musical Performance Assessment) in which both the men's choir and concert choir received straight superiors!
This is the highest level of success and we are so incredibly proud! 🎶🦁💙
Planning for the 2026-27 school year is underway! SFHS will be on campus on Friday to complete course selections with our current 8th graders.
6th & 7th Grade Parents/Guardians, please be on the lookout for course selection sheets that will be coming home this week. Students will meet with their school counselors next week to finalize selections! 🦁💙
