Mrs. Mooreโ€™s fourthโ€‘grade ELA students stepped back in time to the Florida pioneer days through the reading of several historical novels set in Florida! Students not only experienced the lives, struggles, and hardships of pioneers, but also gained a deeper understanding of the rich history of our state.

To showcase their learning, students selected a project from a creative choice menu. Projects included newspapers, podcasts, character interviews, comparison charts of life then and now, and pioneer journals. Each project highlighted studentsโ€™ creativity, critical thinking, and understanding of Florida history in a unique and engaging way.

We are so proud of the hard work and imagination our students demonstrated throughout this exciting learning experience!

Our 5th grade gifted students recently hosted an amazing Entrepreneur Fair, turning their creative ideas into real businesses.
4th graders explored the marketplace, asked great questions, and โ€œshoppedโ€ from a wide range of studentโ€‘made products.
Such an awesome showcase of imagination, teamwork, and realโ€‘world skills.

Our 4th grade enrichment group put their teamwork and creativity to the test during their Bridge Building PBL! ๐ŸŒ‰โœจ
Students took on real-world roles like architect, carpenter, accountant, and project director as they designed and built bridges from toothpicks. Led by Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Moore, students proudly presented their projects to parents through slideshows, commercials, themed presentations, and the ultimate weight test challenge!
We are so proud of their collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity!

Our 3rd grade students had a blast during our in-school field trip with Mad Science! ๐Ÿ”ฌโœจ They explored the scientific method step by step and put their thinking to the test with a fun experiment: Will the distance of a car change if the surface is different? ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’จ From forming hypotheses to testing and observing results, our young scientists were curious, engaged, and excited to learn. We love seeing science come to life in such a hands-on way! ๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿงช
