🐶Ella and Stella make reading even more fun!🐶 As part of our PAWS to Read Program, these gentle, trained dogs visited every class to help students build reading confidence in the most heartwarming way: by listening to them read aloud. 💬❤️ Research shows that reading to a non-judgmental listener like a therapy dog can ease anxiety and make reading more fun — and the smiles, cuddles, and proud readers we saw all week prove it! 📖🐾 Thank you for inspiring our readers and making a tail-wagging difference in literacy! 🐕‍🦺💙💛 #PAWStoRead #IgniteTogetherMCSD

Acceleration in action! Our 5th grade Gifted students are going beyond the standard by collaborating to write real world math problems using one step equations — one variable requiring multiplication and one requiring division. 💬🧮 These young mathematicians are not just solving problems — they’re creating them, showing how math applies to real life situations.

We’re all smiles thinking back on the amazing time we had celebrating Earth Day at Palm City Elementary! 🌍 Our VPK & Kindergarten students went on a colorful scavenger hunt and created beautiful suncatchers 🌸, 1st and 2nd graders explored what plants need to grow and made fun bracelets 🌱, and our 3rd–5th graders connected with nature through thoughtful observations and haiku writing ✍️. A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Friedrichs and our wonderful Master Gardener Volunteers for helping every student get into the garden and experience hands-on outdoor learning. What a beautiful way to celebrate our planet! 🌍
