March 14 (3/14) is all about celebrating π (pi) — the never-ending number that helps us measure circles and unlock the wonders of math! Did you know pi has been calculated to over 62 trillion digits? 🤯 Talk about a number that never quits!
Across our schools today, students will embrace the fun of Pi Day with exciting activities, from memorizing digits of pi to hands-on math challenges.

Our 1st graders had an amazing time at the Hobe Sound Farmers Market! 🎉 They got their hands dirty while planting sunflower seeds to take home, learned how to make butter, and enjoyed a fun-filled farm tour. 🐄🌱The students also discovered the fascinating world of composting and vermiculture! It was a fantastic way for them to connect with nature and learn about where our food comes from! 🌽🌿

🏃♂️🏃♀️ The Palm City Elementary Running Club is back in action this spring! Our amazing young runners are already showing off their speed, teamwork, and determination. It's incredible to see them reach their goals, encourage each other, and build lasting friendships along the way. Way to go, Wildcats!











🚌 St. Augustine Adventures! Third Graders journeyed to the oldest city in the U.S. to dive deep into history as they prepared for their new reading unit: Communities Then and Now! The students had a blast exploring the old fort, riding on the trolley, visiting the old jail, and experiencing canon demonstrations!💥

Congratulations to the talented winners of the 2024-2025 Kids Tag Art competition!
Hundreds of our fifth graders put their creativity to work in the 7th Annual Kids Tag Art contest, sponsored by Martin County Tax Collector, Ruth Pietruszewski. Using both artistic and critical thinking skills, students designed unique tags that families and community members can purchase as license plates, key fobs, or bike plates.
We're excited to celebrate these winners at the Annual Kids Tag Art Awards on April 2, 2025, in the Martin County School District Board Room! 🎨🏆

PBL PIZZA PARTY!! 🍕 3rd graders worked in collaborative groups to design their own fraction pizzas! Each group was asked to create a pizzeria menu using figurative language to appeal to possible pizza patrons!
Kiddos had so much fun applying their knowledge of equivalent fractions to this project!

Our fourth graders had an incredible time at the Kennedy Space Center! They learned about space exploration, toured real-life spacecraft, and enjoyed interactive exhibits that brought space missions to life. It was a day full of excitement and inspiration, sparking curiosity about the wonders of space. A big thank you to the Kennedy Space Center for making this experience unforgettable!
