MCSD earned the highest percentage of "A" rated schools on the Treasure Coast and was just three points shy of earning an "A" district grade in the state accountability system. Five schools ranked among the top 25% of similar schools in the state.

🚨SPOTLIGHT ON SAFETY🚨
On Tuesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis signed HB 1421, which includes both safety and mental health requirements for public schools in Florida.
One of those requirements involves school districts having a board-approved reunification plan in case of an emergency.
The Martin County School District put an evacuation and reunification system in place for emergencies well before it became a requirement in the new school safety law.
